The boys are 9 this year so with a bit of luck they should see the best years of him that is if I can ever get them off the bloody Xbox LOL I think at times we take our situation for granted even though it is hard work and all keepers moan but what a lifestyle and what a place to live perhaps we should be more humble

Mole I have spoken to you in the past via pm and had a very civilised conversation with you,I thought you where a sound guy and came across as reasonable and knowledgeable but to start a thread with a bogus account and then have a conversation with yourself seems a very strange way of warning people of a potential scammer I hope the mods see sense and remove this thread again it serves no purpose and I am afraid paints you in a very bad light. Shooting dogs worrying sheep
danw replied to halloween man's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I fully understand your point but it is because you care for your animals in such a way that it is very unlikely that you would ever get into this situation the truth is that most dogs that worry are owned by idiots who think that tiddles will do no wrong and that he is just playing with the sheep and don't see the damage they are inflicting and that just been chased around a field can be disastrous to a pregnant ewe. I would suggest that most/nearly all lurcher lads take the time to stock break and that is why it is rare to hear of a lurcher being shot more likely it will be some townies pet -
Where do you buy those scents mate had them sent over from the states,f&t fur traders.do a search on here,i delt withy them for years now and never been let down Thanks will give them a try

Maybe it's me but I couldn't give a flying f**k if people ruin their OWN sport by running stuff out of season so long as they don't f**k up my sport who cares.

no animal needs to suffer I didn't say they did No matter what anyone says or does, that video is of an event that is past, it's gone. So I care about the things I can do something about. That was my point. Totally agree SS no amount of whining on here will fetch them back to life the folks as did it where punished so why worry about it

If you think a docked and dewed cocker is worth £600 as a pup without innocs a part trained cocker including innocs is worth 850-1000 by the time you have fed it to 10 months and put the time in it just is not worth it and that is for pedigree pups, most part trained dogs are sold cause they aren't going to make the grade as ftch so it is better to cut your losses than carry a dog which won't achieve the level you wan't

the reason an open ticket is so important, well to us pesties anyway customer phones and asks a price on vermin clearance, you give price and they ask, when can you do it, open ticket you can say, any time to suit you, closed ticket, you say, Ill have to inform my fao, who in turn, may need to arrange a visit with you to inspect garden/field etc, and then I can come, Im sure most will say "I'll get back to you" Totally understand if it is needed for work whether pestie/keeper etc but for your average shooter with 1 or 2 permisions I don't see what the fuss is about
-
I think I should spend more time worrying about the grant of the fac rather than whether it is open or not and to be honest we see this question time and time again why do folks feel it is that important? lets be honest you say you have one farm and been asked to shoot at a friends how hard will it be to show the feo the extent of the ground given you will have to nominate a piece of land in your application no matter if your cert is open or not.

Poltergeist wrecks house in Coventry ...and kills the dog
danw replied to judge2010's topic in General Talk
It seems to me it's OK for someone with a bit of money who can buy houses from the 17th century to lie about this sort of thing, but a poor person is just after a house off the council. Disgraceful . 17th century houses are not all that expensive. Well it depends what you call expensive. Yes maybe I should of gone to the papers......hold on I went a little further when you say you went a little further do you mean you had that dappy bint off most haunted round LOL Close mate..
