I don't have any problems with hunting in all it's forms but I have a real issue with some people who claim to be hunters.

Had this conversation the other night with a mate I just don't see why folks kill fox etc "out of season" when their is no financial motivation they hide behind the ideal of vermin control but that is bullshit an animal is only vermin when it becomes a nuisance or represents a potential threat to livelihood yet people still kill fox all year round on arable land with no game interest's I think some lads need to take a long hard look at themselves and ask if they are really sportsmen.

Mate it's bollocks if its true why is their no info available about it on the ngo/basc/nsra or the nra's websites? do you not think one of them might mention it given that july isn't very far away? Edited to say I think the confusion is arising because the restrictions you say are being imposed relate to if you wish to shoot on an mod range in which case yes you must have a range safety cert and be a member of a nra club if however you have no intention of ever shooting on an mod range then it is of absolutely no concern to you at all -
