Time to get this into perspective the lad is 17 probably just starting out and obviously well pleased with his accomplishment his only crime is to post a pic on here which is clearly distasteful to some members, If he has been asked to clear the fox for what ever reason then that is what he must do. Perhaps it would be better to advise the lad show him the way and teach him respect rather than slag the boy off yes he has made some ill-conceived posts but he is clearly keen and it should be for us to help the lad on his way, we must remember these young lads are the future of our sport without -

Where does the OP mention shooting squirrels up trees? Got to laugh at some of the posts on here .22 at 60 yards is plenty good enough for a fox and as for only zeroing only on HOA ranges get a grip

I've met a few keepers with captive magpies used as call birds and kept on. Just face it mate, there are no hard and fast rules, it takes all walks. It's as stupid as the lad that said 'no proper keeper would have a lurcher". There's a keeper I know as keeps a captive magpie I get my first call bird from him every year saves a load of hassle I must admit I have let call birds go that have caught well as always got to keep the numbers down but wouldn't want to be without them
