    I shoot 25 06 and in the past have owned .243 I prefer the 25 and could argue it's case but I have to reload to get the load and ammo costs to my liking Andyf is spot on in his post start with .243 the plod will prefer it and it is a well understood cartridge which is well served with ammo and rifle choice

    The lacs started there campaign some time ago. The F--kers allways seem to be one step ahead http://www.league.org.uk/news_detail.aspx?id=57 They stay one step in front because they are organised and don't spend all their time shouting about poaching (and guys running your dog over your schools playing field is not poaching)Too much time is spent posturing about who has the biggest dick and all the time the people who will stop hunting for good are campaigning against you it's all very sad really.

    We are doomed to fail if nobody can agree on a site dedicated to hunting and spend all their time slagging each other off how the fu#k are we going to present a united front to the anti's. Stop fu#king moaning and bickering get off your arses and do something about saving your sport. And before I get flamed I did the marches gave weeks of my time putting up posters for the CA and the got arrested in parliament square all to try and save your sport.

    Shop around then fella not all stalkers charge extra for cull animals.It isn't always the stalker who gets to decide the fee most large estates employ a keeper/stalker they have to cover the cost of employment all year round plus insurance etc.It is then the estate who set the price who are keen to maximize profit.

    Does your vet sedate puppies to dock them?if so I should change I have had 4 litters docked in the last year and my current litter is 5 weeks old vet always sorted the paper work no probs and only charges £13 per pup 1 quick snip with the scissors and a dab of potassium permangenate and the job is sorted

    yes i do its a ban on hunting with hounds go on say it there not hounds yes think i will cross lurchers and hounds that will be ok. not here to argue to just having my say thats all mate. or is it the horses to The ban states Hunting wild mammals with dogs, I suggest you go to the lurcher and running dogs forum on this site and read the link, Hunting act 2004 It will save all the dumb ass questions

    Spot on fella they are a charity and have no legal power of entry if they turn up without the police tell them to f#ck off. When they come back with the police you can show them your animals and ask them why they are wasting police time

    sounds to me like the .223 would be your best bet cheap ammo, readily available and a good choice of rifles if 200 yards is your max then this will do every thing you want and more

    You need a licence from the environment agency to trap crayfish it is free and dead easy to apply for and it might save you a fine if you get caught

    Most days I would give £120 so that I didn't have to take inept whinging wankers stalking there lack of shooting ability always amazes me as does the amount of times some twat turns up with a rifle that isn't zeroed and then moans because we have to spend half the stalk sorting their gun. If only people could learn to walk without talking and shuffling along like some retard.Thank god I don't make my living from stalking it would do my head in I can do the cull far more efficiently my self.     Get a plumber to get up at 4 in the morning to come and fix a pipe how much is that? we charge £130 per day all inclusive thats 6 hours stalking at £21.66 per hour not that much is it?
