  1. Get a big bucket with an air tight lid, Ive only 3 ferrets, but I still buy the kibble in 20kg sacks. Worth it in the long run, and it will keep in an air tight container.
  2. Can you send a price list this way too, Mr pit.
  3. Im with TC, I`ll go with mallard. Starting to feather the nest now.
  4. Nice. You need a better camera bud, the things your getting out and seeing... I`d love a fat camera and a few lens` and the knowledge of coarse. I see all sorts doing long stay carp fishing..
  5. What, near on the size of chicken eggs. Looking at them now without my beer googles on, they could be Jackdaws, with not much pattern on, Ive seen all sorts of Corvid eggs, ranging from song thrush type colouring, to nearly fully brown. Dont know about them being nearly as big as a hens egg.... Again, hard to say bud, I dont know what you get down your way in North Wales.
  6. Have to keep an eye on it bud, fresh blue eggs suggests a duck, but the lack of a feathered nest says different. How many eggs are there, is 4+ eggs not a lot for a bird to fire out in 48 hrs? Interesting though, I`ll have to keep an eye on this thread. Some times its hard to say without seeing the bird..
  7. Owl eggs are normally white bud, but the darker colour, could be because their due to hatch?
  8. Cant see very well, but the lack of down in the nest, and the few number of eggs, rules out a duck I would think, Were the eggs white and quite round? Looks like theres 4-6 eggs there so could be an owl bud. Is it in a rotten tree by the way?
  9. What colour egg, what was the nest made out of, what type of tree, pic ?
  10. If your after eggs bud, I`d buy a few point of lay poulets in, some of the pure breed eggs available, might not yeild eggs this year. Wrong time of year for a cheap incubator, (Spring), most people will have already bought them, and plan on using them. Im still on my first incubator, a Fiem smart 20, and I`ve hatched loads with it. I wouldnt read to deep into humidity levels if all your after is some backyard hens, raptors or parrot`s, then do...
  11. Fooking £70 for two jill jabs!, I said I`d ring back...

  13. Can you Imagine how long it would take to fell a 3ft wide tree by sucking it
  14. They could need worming.. 5 of the hens of my egg flock, I hatched out Aug last year, and although of age, they didnt start laying properly till lately.
  15. Weird... How many fellas is that now James? Plus Phil... Not Good.
  16. Yes. Warm moist mash, they love it in cold weather. Are the eggs your getting all the same colour? Sounds like maybe only a couple of your hens are actually laying, hence the very few eggs through winter, hopefully should pick up once the weather warms up. Are you feeding any mixed corn? Fat, contented hens aren`t too fussed about laying eggs. My egg production has only just started to pick up in the last few weeks, and Im in the sunny south. Lower your corn and up your layers and greens.
  17. Have you got any dogs under a vet? Just tell them its for the dog. Works for me.

  18. Happy birthday Lad. All the best. Someone off to a Everton game Troter?
  19. Sposed to be good by all accounts, you have linked the same product I was going to put you on to. I shall be buying some in the near future. Gonna give a squirrell a go. Good luck.
  20. Or you could wait till both jills were heavy in season, you wouldnt have the 3 week gap then, both jills could be impregnated within days of each other. Ive never really like the idea of multipul litters in the same cages, especially with a big horny hob. Just my opinion..
  21. You got any links to Louis Cuddys 1st pro fight Pip, I cant seem to find them.
  22. Nice mate. First time I`ve had a decent look at her.
