  1. Im the same bud, hence the mk35 ferret box.. I went to the same building course as homer simpson
  2. Surely you could make one bud? Cost you more in postage than anything else... Heres one I just made, it dont take long... (yeah right) This is the one I`ll keep now, thats why I gave it some paint!
  3. Im not racist, Ive the same amount of contempt for the lot of them. Nowt but beasts with two legs. I`d love a cage full of confiscated attack dogs and pit`s, then just keep adding the filth.. Show them what the term means "gone to the dogs"
  4. Tut tut tut. I hate to see poor husbandry but, animals aside, a grass is still a grass. If you were that bothered, you`d have jumped the fence after you finished spying....
  5. So sorry for you loss bud.. If I was closer, I`d buy you a new pack.. Dodgy though mate.. But on a lighter note, I stayed with my grandad when I was a young blade, he lived in a little row of oap bungalows. One night I came home newted, and couldnt work out why my key wouldnt work and why my gramps wouldnt open the front door, instead just waving at me through the living room net curtain. All became clear when the blues turned up, and explained I was trying to get into the house next door... Ooops.
  6. Fookers!!! If I had any dough in the bank, I`d be whipping it out.. wankers.. On the upside, next time I get busted for weed, Im gonna be claiming I`m Rastafari all the way to court.
  7. I wonder if it has owt to do with the scoville scale, mustard out of a jar is hotter than say dry, uncooked curry spices. Poultry spice, looks and smells just like a curry blend, but the hens love it..
  8. I`ve just joined the wessex ferret club, and in their recent newsletter, they go on about snipped hobs passing diseases round... If your gonna go that route, its probably better keeping your hoblet for your own use.
  9. Not to worry, I had a crack at a leather one. Made it out of some leather from my old sofa. I also stiched on a ring of braided nylon rope on to help ensure a good foothold (not shown, I added it after the pic, just before my thumbs started bleeding from puntures) Turned out ok, good fit, bit long, but was trimmed on the bird.
  10. If its anything like my mystery egg thief, it`ll be a maggie. I left 3 eggs on the garden table, and carried on with the rest of the duties. I forgot about the eggs, and when I went out there at lunch, two eggs were completely gone with no trace and the 3rd was pecked open... A little later I went outside and seen a maggie sat on one of my sheds, and I`ve never seen any crows in the garden. So I thought right, I`m gonna have you. I went down the garden armed with 3 banty eggs and a handful of chopped straw and made a nest, put 2 eggs in whole and broke the 3rd to expose the bright yolk and r

  14. Get on it Westy, awsome feeling, after a few blanks, to find one, or god forbid more than one caught up. Nice to see them working as they should too. Nice one Nels, Life saver... Again. I`ll drop you a PM..
  15. Hey All.. Watched Woodga`s dvd for the first time a few days ago, and was really impressed. So then I ordered a kg of wire and eyes. While I was waiting for my gear, I made 8 figure 4 tealers and 8 singles, then ran out of 2.4mm wire, melted lead into a tin for my 7lb weight and stood some wire in it to make the hook, that was it, I was away, knocking up 200 wires over the two days. With rabbits being thin on the ground this year, my freezer is pretty empty, so I headed to a massive thick bramble patch,on some made up ground(landfill) behind an industrial estate which is too big to ferr

  18. Looks tidy enough bud. Might want to brace the legs, stop them splaying out. Should of put the tin the other way so the rain runs off the back of it...
  19. What do you want paypal and posted for the Roe on the right bud? You can throw the bit of wood away to make postage cheaper...
  20. Uno people like you P$$s me off you really do such bloody do gooders think you know everything, just because you may have nervy ferrets and might not look after them so they would kill the young doesn't mean mine are like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steady on mush... I thought all of the above when I read it this morning, but then I thought, "if you`ve not got owt nice to say..." Your not the only one whos been playing with ferrets for years, most have on here, so why you thought a pretty bland sentence and a few dodgy pics is interesting to others who have been doing the same for time i
  21. Ive got a chicktech/Fiem Smart 20. Its a forced air, automatic and you can see through the whole lid, so you dont need to remove it to check for pipped eggs. I get good results with chicken, banty and quail eggs, but I`d be very wary doing anything that required optimum humidity, as being a forced air machine, the humidity gets forced out a vent as it draws air... I could pop a wick through a vent though.
  22. Strange that aint it, usually happens after a day of two of no weed... If you can roll a "flaming back flip" Then you know you can roll..... For those who dont know, you use the paper backwards and upside down, so when you roll it and stick it, you get a big strip of un-used paper, which you light at the roach end, the flame travels the lenth of the joint, then you use the flame to get the joint going. Pretty impressive when your 12 lol. Can tell your a carp angler ..... Amongst other things.. Just got my tickets through, I should get down the lake, seems a waste doing all this lemo

  24. You can feed meat all year. Just chop into small portions before freezing, so it all gets eaten quickly and feed at night during summer.
