Not sure bud.. if they look like they`re taking a train ride, that would be bad I guess, but if its just a little tremor you might be ok. Would putting it on a bit of polystyrene make a difference d`you think?

im not saying that but to try the sport you dont need a dog! you need a tag along! this way if you dont like it or grow out of it thers no harm done but if you had of bought a pup and decided it wasnt for you then thers just another pup done wrong by. so if you have no idea of training a dog or buying a pup beacause toy would like to 'TRY' then my thoughts are no you shouldnt get a dog until no what your doing. It's hard for some people to get a someone to take them out. What if you don't know anyone that hunts? I wouldn't take just anyone out with me, they could be on here as a member fo

Im not a jealous person mate... I`ll get my bit one day. Goose incubation is around 30 days I think, you`ll have to do your home work. Ive vague memories of the old boy round the corner having to spray his duck eggs once a day and also let them cool for 15 minutes if I remember right. Maybe goose eggs are the same.

To seperate it to sand and blue properly. The guys done it in the picture above, and having done the blueing twice now, I know this is a problem area, that needs splitting for best results. -

The rivet that attaches the cocking arm to the barrel. Im thinking I could use my vice as a press, by winding it in, it would push the rivet out.. Bit of hard wood with a hole drilled in it, to accept the rivet, and a bit of cut down nail to act as the punch? Sound precarious, but if Im careful, I think it will work... -

Nice mate, some time gone in there... Is there any difference between super blue and perma blue, from the same company?, I used the latter, and to be fair, its come out a lot better 2nd time round, but yours has inspired me to have another go.. After a fair bit of reading and not being able to source a grease I was happy with today, Ive gone and ordered the 95 service kit from Sandwell, should be here friday. Im the mean time Im gonna have another crack at the blueing and then give the piston and chamber a polish. Do you need a press to remove the cocking lever rivet?, I had a go wit -

Nice one Skot. Explains a fair bit. The blueing is going much better this time round due to having it in bits. Breech seal looks sound, the rifle is only about 4 year old. But if I place an order, I might as well replace it. Dont spose you know the best place to get a vmach kit? I would have a quick search, but Ive got the gloves on doing the blueing... Fag break.. -

Anyone? The 95 is safely in bits now, bit of rust on the piston, but the seal looks ok. Gonna give all the parts a good clean and degrease. Now I was gonna maybe order a new spring and piston, but Im unsure what to get, if I intend on getting the tuning kit, what parts does that come with? Also, whats best for cleaning/degreasing and then greasing back up? Thanks in advance.... -
Hi All.. Well after finally getting round to attempting a new blueing job, its fallen on its arse badly, to say the least... Not being 100% confident in a total strip down, I took the lazy half arsed route and removed as little as poss and applied the blue and rust remover, wow does that stuff work..., Piece of piss this is gonna be, so I thought.. Long and short of it is, Ive now a streaky, more rusty rifle then when I started and Im not happy. So, total strip down now, and a re-blue in parts. My question(s) are what does a tune involve and how hard is it to do? I have limited sp

There was a marsh warbler in a swim I fish at a local moat for about a week, loads of twitchers started turning up, all a bit surreal.. I probably saw it but thought it was a reedy Are marsh warblers rare then Pete? Nice spot with the harrier, by the way..

There was a program on not so long back where a polish family were caught bang to rights cooking a swan, they even found the feathers, head, wings etc in a bag in there dustbin. they were not charged due to lack of evidence lack of evidence isn't a consideration for them when it comes to private prosecutions for hunting offences I saw that programme, f***ing useless they were, bang to rights and not a thing done. Takes the piss, if it were you or me.....
