  1. Finally got a confirmation email from viovet, my eprinex pour on is coming. Now the confussion.. On back yard chickens, all the americans are using it at 0.5 CC, per average hen, but the English are using at 0.5ML, is there not a big difference?
  2. Mine went earlier in the yard, bent over un-doing a knot in a bit of para cord, dropped me. Aint been the same since a punch up with my brother last year.
  3. I`m with you Paul. Tried the natural powder, didn't work. Its most effective straight away, once it gets damp, its shite.
  4. Yeah I read all I could about it bud. Had a mask, goggles, gloves, paper suit and taped up willies on too. Fookin scorcher of a day when I done it
  5. Good. It`ll happen again. One of them will get it right.
  6. I was using DE as a preventative, cracks, nest boxes and birds. Seems it didn't help much, or the battles lice and mite powder. This infestation happened in little over a week, I know because I`d cleaned my shed spotless a week before I seen the first few mites, this was my shed, not a bird house. The ficam looks to have knocked them out in the runs and sheds, nothing moving and on the day of application, the flies were dropping dead after contact.., Still waiting for email confirmation from viovet for the eprinex pour on. I paid £25 quid for a kilo some name brand DE, but ebay is do
  7. How old are they? The jill should naturally dry up as the kits eat more solids and less milk. If you thought they were ready to separate, theres not much use putting them back with her..
  8. Scrap the bread and milk. Meat, meat, and more meat. Whole rabbit is good, gutted and quartered, but chicken wings and such from the supermarket will do. Then when its a bit fatter you could switch to ferret kibble to try and cut back on the meat and the flies!
  9. Am I gonna get knocked back from viovet for no perscription for eprinex?

  10. Yeah some old boy said that. Ive got some heavy duty bug spray coming for the coops and what not and some eprinex pour on for the birds. I`m praying its gonna knock them out.
  11. Ha Ha Ha, funny guy. My little gas weed burner seems to have stopped working, got a leak. Tried some old boys old school pump up paraffin one yesterday, nearly set fire to the fence. Fooking thing kept pulsing and squirting out like a flame thrower!! Gave it some more pressure and it started pissing out from the on/off valve.. Decided it was best left alone. My poison turned up today, but I wasn't home to sign for it. Job for the morning..
  12. [bANNED TEXT] the feck is a punn and a troot? £3 a pound and trout..
  13. The braggers.. Got a mate I go fishing with, you wanna see the fecker in the mornings with his long johns on, prancing about on the bank, looks like something out of a Shakespeare play, always going on about how he never gets a proper ride cos it hurts the girls so much.. My Mrs mate done him, said he was shite
  14. seen the word Knob and nearly broke his finger on the keyboard to have a look .. Ha ha ha. Made me laugh that..
  15. I was never gonna spray the birds bud. What I meant was, Im guessing its not got a ticket for poultry use, but Im willing to try it regardless as I feel the problem is that bad.
  16. At this moment in time bud, I couldn't give a shit, its that bad. Im going on the theory, that if you can use it round the house and bedroom, for bedbugs, its safe enough for me. Without sounding harsh, its us or the hens. I`ll let you know Bull, if theres any adverse reactions in the birds..
  17. You can buy it on ebay, will it defo work torchey? Just looked on ebay didn,t realise anyone could buy it ,that aside it slaughters them Nice. Good old ebay.
  18. Just keep looking lol. I found mine out mooching, on the edge of a golf course, it had been dug up and replaced I presume as it was a bit knackered at the ends and a bit in the middle. Fecking had to drag it about 3 mile back to the motor..
  19. Got some ficam coming. What ivermec do I want, and where do I get it lads ?
  20. Yeah, Ive heard of that remedy. Wouldn't know where to get some, do they still make it?
  21. You can buy it on ebay, will it defo work torchey?
  22. Old pair of jeans??!! what can they do with them...? lol I agree regarding the wood Funny you should say that... Ive got a shed load of that perforated, corrugated drainage pipe that goes all round my court, up the walls, along the underside of the roof and in two places, Ive cut the pipe and jubilee clipped a leg of jeans into it, making little hammocks, they love them, they are their preferred sleeping places. Seems their warm enough, but like a bit of air.
  23. Ive got two serama roo`s and up until last week, I was boxing them up, then in a wooden chest, in my concrete shed. and you could just hear them if you knew they were there. Since the mite problem Ive burnt all the boxes and the roos stay with the hens now and its noticeably louder and earlier.. The neighbours don't seem to mind during the day, haven't had a complaint, I think they enjoy it a bit, reminds them of times gone by when it was the norm to have a few hens and a roo. Im not sure how long you`d get away with a big bird crowing though.
