    Head strong is an understatement Steve,I got a 13month old Patt I want to use for ferreting,but isnt showing much intrest in any holes,but if she see`s a rabbit or fox above ground she chokes herself trying to get at them,and will chase. Also,Im having to keep her on a lead most of the time as now,shes takin to fecking off and hunting up on her own,and recall can be a bit slack. The ferret training has also un-done since she got a little nip,she just wants to pin and bite them now. Do you think she will come good once she clicks the bunnys pop out around her when she stays near? Doin my nut

    I thought the skeetex field boot was Crap,they let water,made my feet sweat,then go cold and then they cracked and let more water and that was only after 1 season. Got Hanwag goretex and nubuck boots now and its the closest Ive come to have continuos warm feet. Thin cotton socks then thick wool ones on top,sorted.

    Hi All.. Santa`s coming early for me so Im wondering wheres the best place to order a mk3m and two collars? Had a look on google and it says some ebay shops have them for £199, but when you click on them the shop says they want £229 or roundabouts. How much should I be looking to pay then? Thanks in advance.

    Hello mate,just out of curiosity,wheres your farm? Im originally a Kirkby lad,but moved down south 16 years ago,but I dont get them down here,theres more country but less hunters? The only farm with horses I remember was the one on the way to fazackerly near the sports stadium. Any way take it easy and I hope you get your pest problem sorted.

    Funny someone should mention tennis court net,we as kids were led to believe it was good for purse nets,we were only 10/11, and the older lads who told us to nick it were into a bit of deeper digging... :whistling: This was when I was still living in Kirkby tho.

    See,thats what happens when you breed non-workers..you get vegaterians... Jokin,prob jus being fussy mate,its still eating the dry ferret food,and Im taking it.its a complete food mix,so I wouldnt worry about it. Get ya nets out!

    totally hate it, really puts my effort to shame,me and wood just don't mix lol...............fair play mate on a proper job Funny as... Nice box mate,well done.Just done one similar,only double compartment. Bit gutted,as my 6mm on the bow,was 5mm short along the lid ,so its got extra venting now. Looks much better now its stained though...I really need to stop building from just visions and off cuts from me mate.

    Google your area. I dont think its a case of wheres the nearest one mate. Its more about what the lake holds in terms of your goals,and how far your willing to pay/travel

    Hi Rich. sindicate waters usually have a long waiting list and big joining fee,couple that with a big round trip to and from the lake,and you have to ask yourself,is it worth it? Do you not have any angling clubs nears you. The one im with has about 10 lakes and a few beats on two rivers,dotted round the south. Bargain for £75 a year. All our specimen lakes are well patrolled too so that cuts the litter and thus the rats down. Kids and over baiting is always a problem most places in the summer,but that will calm down now the summer is fading. Hope you get on somewhere good anyway. tight lines

    Yeah,the mrs` mate,who works in said vets has also said try piriton,the 4mg pills or something.. How long should I keep dosing her up? Hey,BigStu, how would I go about lowering her protein? I want to keep her away from wheat at the moment,so I dont want to bulk her food out with too much shite. Thanks for all the imput people. Bob.
