If its a good knife I wouldnt use a bladetech, apparently they ruin a good `un. I thought they were good, certainly do the trick for opinel`s. I would of thought a whetsone would have done the job. Do you think you could have done it in with the bladetech? I would try and grind an edge on it with a 600 stone then hone with a 1000/6000 stone. Youtube have loads of whetstone vids.

I wouldnt mate, cant put a point on them for toffee. Plus once the go in the middle their useless, I can see them snapping trying to get them in hard ground. Maybe ok for a traditional, as you can pick and choose what your gonna use, but I wouldnt tie them in a quick set. You might want to sand them round the growth rings as they can be quite sharp and snaggy. Whilst your out, cut some hazel wands for back up..

Happens all the time round here in "Gods waiting room by the sea". Although it pisses me off sometimes, what can you do? I do have one old boy I look out for, I have a drink with him, make sure its tidy and that hes fed and got a bit of baccy. Bit weird really as we have fook all in common apart from both getting called scouse, and he wasnt even born in Liverpool never mind raised there!?. I spose I just respect the life he`s lived and continues to stick by his guns...

A little of each is what`s required. Mrs loves a bit of apple smoked or wensleydale with fruit, Im not too fussed, I`ll eat most of it as long as it dont smell too ripe.

All the ones I know worth knowing would skin a turd for 5p, and seem to have real forgetful memories, I,E when you`ve done them a good turn, but always clam up when a favour or tool is required. That said, I always say never again, but always find myself helping them out. I could live without the tall tales though. Its got to be my only fear, getting old. I hope they make that "Right to die" stuff legal..

Yeah right! My uncles elderly neighbour seen us with rabbits, and asked for a couple next time so I agreed. Normally all my rabbits go to people I know for birds or ferrets ect. Well next time came and I picked him two beaut`s, nice young fresh rabbits suitable for a lonely widower. Took time to skin them, washed and dried them, took them round there all very boy scout only to get a knock a few days later to ask if we wanted one back, rabbit wasn`t quite as nice as he`d remembered.... Then you get the fnckers that do you in the que, just breeze in like your not there, that aint as daft as they

Love it. Thing is, they still think they can fish like that over here, there was one numpty one here last year fancied doing it on a river because the farmer he worked for said he could, because of beef with the local fishing club..

Happy days mate. I done my 3 the other day, I had 2 NB`s, a hen and a stag and a double breasted bronze stag, and they went 12,18 and 25lb plucked. Just hope they taste good now.
