Yes I have. I really get pissed off when folk slag off the e europeans. Thats it bud, just got to cross our fingers and hope for a better season next year. And make do with what you got meanwhile... All this talk of a cold snap, is too little too late in my opinion, it might nip the VHD and mixy in the bud, but it wont bring back the numbers that have already died.

I have made a few square meshed nets. Good luck you will need it Really? Maybe I`ll just start with a couple of 6yd stoppies then. What makes it harder than diamond mesh to make? Im not quite sure where you hang it from once Ive done a lenth, you know, when you want to shorten your net to carry on. There seems to be pockets of rabbits across the country but numbers are pretty low all over this season. I went for a mouch yesterday, done 3 small burries - a 13 holer, 10, and a 5. Nothing at home in the two bigger ones and I got two small bucks out of the 5. I didnt know wether to feel hard done by or privileged. Theres a few still out there, just got to look in the places you used to turn your nose up at, and get used to the idea of smaller bags for more work.

If you go on Agouti net supplies, he sells the stuff on there by the spool. They`re all the same size regardless of diameter, but to be honest I found the small diameter stuff a tighter weave, so less prone to snag. Also, the bigger stuff frayed quick if you didnt blob the end sharpish. Its sold by weight so you would get more lenth on a 3mm spool than a 4 or 5

Good effort mate, looks a bit too small though, next to that dog. How come you made it so short? Most you buy are 1500mm long, x 500 x500. It`ll catch other things though no doubt. -

I think youse have all been robbed by the royal mail xmas temps, failing that, youve been scammed. I bought some longnet poles off someone off here saturday, posted saturday and I got them today. I dont think they were sent any special way either cos they just got posted through the letter box.

When you say spun/nylon are better for not picking crap up, do you mean square mesh or diamond? Does anyone know if square meshes pick up any less crap, regardless of what they`re made of?

Heartless feckers, very, very cruel race. I seen a undercover Doc about the bears, sad. They dont treat the SANCTUARY Tigers much better either, beating them into submission and spraying other Tigers urine into their face, as it breaks them mentally, and this was meant to be a donation based Tiger sanctuary, it may have even had a few so called "monk`s" attached to the outfit. The Chinese have a saying "The Chinese will eat everything with legs, but not a table and all that fly`s, but not a plane" Picture say`s it all really...

I think the top one is a better design, bars are safer surely?. I do like the drainage gully too, nice touch to make life easier.
