went to work for an hour this morning only to come back and find my 14 month lakeland fell x weaten wasnt in the pen looked up the yard and the shed door was open long story short he jumped the pen made his way to the shed and some how opened the clasp on the ferret box and duely dispatched my two kits is there any way i can break this dog to ferrets or am i wasting my time ???

last christmas i got a loan of your book and read it in a night it was the first book on terriers that i read and by far the best. it was a great read really enjoyable read. i have a pair of borders and hope to get them working i would be very interested in the new book and joining the working border club

That 'll work ! provided the terrier is absolutely useless, if the terrier is any good it'll make it want the ferret even more ! the dog has no back down dont think a njp on the nose will stop him !!!!

Hi there.The best advise i good give you would be to give them more exercise & mental stimulation.They wont chew if they are tiered & content.atb,Kev. i have them out every day some days they get out twice a day they get out on the lead and also get a run around in the countryside

any advice on stoping my 9 month pups chewing their kennel and the ferret hutch is there anything the i could apply to them so that the dont taste so appealing !!!!!!! why is it that they only chew wahat you dont want them to chew !!!!!

i'm trying to trace a line of smooth fox terriers the prefix on the line was molten ...... this line was used in the 50s and 60s i know its a long shot but some of the dogs were shipped to england........ i know this as i have recentlyu found reg papers dating back to the 40s !! any help would be great cheers
