  1. Tyson was a little like tuffty hed huff and puff and get in your head, but the second he got in a real fight hed fold like a pack of cards and claiming mental problems!
  2. You csnt make a decent argument for MT without a million what ifs, facts are douglas pummelled him in his prime and he lost every other really big fight there after. To say foreman wouldnt have beat him in his prime is a joke as he came back at nigh on 50 years old and became champ right in tysons era, like today tysons era was poor for HW and he couldnt even begin to dominate then, forget ali and foreman norton would have beat him along with many many other less well known boxers.
  3. The ultimate aim of any boxer should be to stop your opponent.imo any fights that look as if there wouldnt be a stoppage if it went for a hundred rnds and the fighters are looking only to score points and win rnds should be called a draw. Or similar to pride (mma) yellow cards shown to fighters not being avgressive and a cut comes out there purse.Infact I think boxing could take lots of things from ufc/mma like loading there cards up better with fighters people care about they dont have to be the best if there exciting and the fans are invested in them.Large bonuses for ko of nights and fights
  4. Strange aint it, them views are one of the few things about him that I like
  5. The other Tashfeen malik, sounds like them pesky christians at it again
  6. your rwmembering tyson as if he was fighting some #300 rank punchbag though, ali wouldnt stand there waiting to be hit hed be dancing all over and firin hes own shots in. MT would fold quickly from a foreman onslaught. Whose tysons best victory? Dont say holmes
  7. I really dont see MT as one of the greats in a skills sense he was good and had great power and at times showed heart but I think hed of allways struggled against good technical boxers who werent overawed by the character of him and got on ther toes and got there jab working previous greats like a prime larry holmes would of beat him ali for sure foreman for sure imo and with todays fighters the klithkos and furys with freakish reach and patience to bore a pts win would beat him to imo.
  8. I believe a lot of that is to do with the fact that fighters can do the distance so easily today.......12 rounds is no longer enough to fully test the guts and resolve of a fighter and so the temptation to put the result into the judges hands instead of brawling it out leaves the door open to rematches in controversial decisions.......im of the opinion that the safety measures that are now in place and working enable the 15 round distance to be a viable option again......which i believe would see fighters more willing to duke it out knowing they might not be able to do the distance.......look
  9. Haye v klitchko is a perfect example imo, haye had the tools to beat him imo but would rather lose a decision than throw some lwather and see whos still standing afyer a few rounds
  10. I totally agree.....to be able to class the 2 eras as the same sport let alone the same division is almost embarrassing.......ive said for many years there has to come a time when a super heavyweight division comes into professional boxing......to think that hypothetically Tyson Fury would more than likely beat Muhammed Ali surely emphasises my point. But the thing is giants have been in the sport since the beggining, it's just got to a stage where now their skills are sufficient enough to see them beat the smaller yet more skilled opponents. It's far from exciting or action filled but that's t
  11. Foreman would of smashed the crap out of tyson and pretty much any other hw, ali included if hed of gone about it different
  12. Me too, if he had more heart I think haye couldve been an alltime great
  13. You must be f***ing gutted you didnt take those bets
  14. Yes I do. If he wasn't willing to do it then they should have gone to someone who was. He's entitled to his beliefs, and should also be protected from discrimination and coercion. If Britain has indeed changed the law that you can sue for discrimination, based on a refusal to serve, then you're all f****d! Good luck with Blighty. I won't be back! he isnt entitled to hos beliefs though as he was taken to court and lost
  15. The reason some league players may struggle is the million stupid rules, unions gone crap the person who decidws the game is the referee and how he interprets the laws. Also ive played both codes and league is more physically demanding imo as the games a lot faster and flowing.
  16. The difference is a soldier has been personally and carefully selected by good experienced experts in the field....people we pay and trust to make those selections..........compared to someone who paid to do a training course. It was a simple scenario......a man was being threatened by a little man whos armed or a big man whos not armed who is the biggest threat to pull his gun on. Their not really all that carefully selected though are they, I went to sign up before my 16th birthday id been in bother with the law and just expelled from school and they would have had me in no probs but for
  17. I think thats a good example of how our society has changed in the last 25 years........or more to the point.....how our society has been programmed to change....people are just so frightened of offending someone......anyone ! yeah ive been thinking along similar lines, I reckon managers and players of yesteryear would of paid lip service to the stuff going on outside but behind closed doors it would have been different I.e lets get stuck into the cheese eating surrender monkeys and give them a good thumping while they minds are elsewere, bet they was talk of not hammering them or playing a dr
  18. Did mine last year baxI platinum 10 yr warranty, bought boiler and magna clean off the net, fixed it in loft and drilled flue hole and got a local boiler man round to pipe it in, comission it and register the warranty cost £1500ish
  19. Sounds perfectly sensible to allow people with a long and proven track record to carry a concealed weapon......its the day course Andy Mcnab wannabee,s im not so sure of. It doesn't have to be a day course It could be far more stringent than military weapon handling tests, there will be people who post on here much more competent than a lot of soldiers. I would like to know who the people on here are that are much more competent than soldiers ....... Must admit i found that a curious comment as well ....im sure theres some pretty competent footballers on here as well but im not sure a

  22. Not that ive any experience but I always thought bandogs were just big general purpose crossbreeds with no real type or job, just a big mastiff x that might get used for anything be that hunting yard dog or farm work or whatever.
  23. If you max out the quantity the postage doesnt seem to go up.3000 for £13.48 doesnt seem bad
  24. Dont agree with it, some people may feel a burden on others and feel they should offer to off themselves.
