  10. As arctic says country joe.. A varied balanced diet is the key. I wouldn't dream of just feeding Gain to my dogs by its self, they call in 'complete' and the rep might tell you different but getting the protein from meat is key. if you look at gain the majority of the 28% protein is from grain and non meat products, I use this along with fresh raw meat, bones, oily fish, offal and mixed veg as PART of a balanced diet and this is working for me. I'm not saying this is right or wrong but my dogs look and perform well on it
  11. I had my 3 on field and trail before switching to gain 28 just before I went back offshore to work for two weeks, any way I've came home and they are looking really really well on it. My bull cross seemed to have dry skin with the skinners field and trail and since switching to gain it seems to have cleared up and has a lovely shine to his coat now. I'm feeding raw mixed with the gain and home made raw rabbit and veg mince. Gain was reccomended from a few lads down my way and don't think ill use out else now, £13 odd quid for 15kg is a good price too. Gets the thumbs up from me
  12. They are crackers from that litter seen some beauty's on here
  13. I like a dog to have well knuckled up tight feet although I've yet to see a dog be hindered in any way by not having feet like this. My pal has a collie bull deer grey with nice feet and suffers terribly with injures on various ground, not just one type. Yet he has a saluki cross dosent have the best looking feet but seems to glide over any terrain with out any problems. Again my pup (bull whippet saluki grey) has feet which are strong and well knuckled up, something which was a factor in choosing a pup from this litter beside working ability and he seems to be fine on his feet so far, t
  14. As above £40 posted, one brand new & one used in great condition. Pm or 07718911190
  15. Thanks mate, I only get to drive it when it's low n petrol or needs new tyres, women for ya!
  16. Sorry mate should of mentioned the size. It will fit neck size 16" upwards
  17. As above a unused 2" strong stuff collar for sale with st George flag logo. Extra loop in collar so you can tuck the excess collar away underneath. Bought this for my bull cross but I'm going to stick with the Lurcher type which Aaron makes as i find this suits him better Don't need to blab on about the quality of these collars we all know they are the dogs bollocks, its the only gear I use for my dogs quality being second to none. Like I say only tried it on the dog in the house and then taken off so in brand new condition. £20 posted or collection from Teesside 077189111
  18. Yep i hope so mate, hes getting more mature in the way he runs each time out, i guess thats just him finding his feet. His dam was approx 3/4 whippet 1/8th saluki 1/8th bull. His sire was a half cross bull greyhound with saluki in the mix some where back down the line.
  19. Recall is spot on mate, had him retrieving to hand at 5 months got some vids but not sure how to post? Speed wise he's pretty quick not going to be no world beater, not to bad of the mark keeps up with my whippet x bitch. What I will say is that he is still very puppyish in the way he runs sometimes as to be expected of a dog his age but other than that he has a nice stride when running. I would highly reccomend the cross mate I've seen 2 dogs (sal, bull, grey) run and they both have excelled at their job hence the reason why I chose a cross of similar breeding.
