  1. There's been some good points mentioned here. I've plenty o years o ownin, workin an bein rahnd bull x's. I'd like to through consideration to eyes, ears an skin into the mix of attributes mentioned.. I had a great dog 'Striker' who after a days fox drivin on the 'fens' workin cover, findin an attendin to shot foxes, was asked by the farmer if we wanted to run a hare. The mantle was picked up as an oppertunity to run a fen hare was not to be missed. A good an more than fair slip(not by choice...more circumstance) a half dozen turns an bingo. Job done.   2. Thanks for the info on my young dog Dahn Sarf been really good talkin to a genuine bull x fan who knows whats what. Wish tha all the best on field, an look forad to speykin agin wi yer. Seem's to me alot o folk over look the fact that it takes two good dogs to make good offspring . Worse still sometimes the better half is over-looked. He didn't stick wi his pup, an i belive its seen a few hands already. I cant weigh up why anyone would not stick wi these pups. Mine is a pet as well as a worker an brings nowt but joy. He's no flyin machine but is no slouch at all, an his short coupling helps wi the turns. He's very game, a nose like a coonhound (100% so far) will push through the thickest cover for the right scent. My youngest son can walk him, a half decent guard dog (by

  7. Pup from Golly x honey. More than suited Has had a bad foot since he was a bairn but still can produce the goods. Game as a pebble, quick enough on his feet and the best nose i've known on a bull x. Been with us since he was just over 6 weeks an will be with us till the end. He was abaht 20 months in this pic.
