cheers Bob, i applied for .22 rimfire & thats what iv got. i was just wondering why it did'nt say that. wasn't even considering chancing anything else. that would be very stupid.
Never thought about this until i was reading a thread entitled "Quietest calibre" My FAC is worded .22 bolt action rifle,no mention of rf,wmr or cf. does this mean i can choose?

They are the same .224 caliber, just different cartridges.

no mate you can just put .22cf if you like that way you get a better choice in the gun shop
