  1. I never suggested you ditch your lurchers - but i started a thread on here entitled something like 'Hardcore whippets' after your last anti-whippet moan. It had pics of whippets taking fox, deer, wallabies, hare and rabbit, and i noticed you never once commented, but here is a guy whos asking about them and BANG - your all over them, slagging them off. They are maybe not the best at certain jobs but they can do them perfectly well and will stand hard nights in the driving icy rain and as much game as you can throw at them, it all depends on the strain. Maybe the people you know just owned sh*
  2. Scrape it all up and put it in the corner, clean the rest thoroughly . atb Jai.
  3. Whin - you know f*ck all about Whippets mate! I notice you didn't comment once on the thread that ran about whippets taking big game etc! Jai.
  4. Apparently they excel at bushing, rabbiting, retrieving etc and are not earth dogs. There is a kennel that runs them down our way. Idea with the sporting Lucas was to try and re create a working terrier from something that was heading showwards (not a word!) atb Jai.
  5. I'm down Bristol way so will keep my eyes out. Where did that rumor come from? Sadly the best place to start is those you have met, many a man has been f*cked over by so called friends and acquaintances. atb Jai.
  6. Are they chipped? atb Jai. We almost need a pinned thread 'what to do when your dog gets stolen' - it happens that often.
  7. This seems to happen at least once a week. I doubt it has anything to do with antis - its just that coursing dogs are of a relatively high profile and good breeding is hard to come by without cash or connections. Also those who are into coursing often meet up with folk for sport and also talk about their dogs and so can become a target. They are also the favored dog type of a certain unsavory section of our society as well as all the genuine coursing lads. I really feel for you mate and it makes my blood boil that there seems to be no stopping this. atb Jai.
  8. Who would want someone else to train their dog? Actually i suppose lots would and thats why they ain't really dog men, just men who want to own dogs. atb Jai.
  9. Just like the states . . . . . the guy you DIDN'T vote for gets in. Joy.
  10. http://www.thewildones.org/Gifs/dingo.gif Which would be one would be harder to domesticate??? COCK. did that hit a nerve mate. Not really i just don't like racist bigots! Especially uneducated racist bigots. . . . although the two things do seem to go hand in hand on thl.
  11. 2 jills, one small vac hob. Problem solved! Jai.
  12. http://www.thewildones.org/Gifs/dingo.gif Which would be one would be harder to domesticate??? COCK.
  13. I'm pretty sure he was just walking his dog.
  14. Aye, fair point. You outta see a marbled polecat - thats one freaky looking fella! atb Jai http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://itech.pjc.edu/sctag/marbled_polecat/pic2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://itech.pjc.edu/sctag/marbled_polecat/index.htm&usg=__PX0r_nvt6ANYi9mvO5GK5BTcodw=&h=240&w=320&sz=50&hl=en&start=14&um=1&itbs=1&tbnid=aV4bjPnVsT87OM:&tbnh=89&tbnw=118&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dpolecats%2Bwith%2Bred%2Beyes%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dsafari%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Den-us%26tbs%3Disch:1
  15. Yer don't THINK polecat with red eyes is possible, but then again any mutation is techinclly possible i suppose. As for webbed feet, the Columbian Weasel has webbed feet and the European Mink has partly webbed feet . . . . .. And yer the yanks breed all kinds of 'chocolate' coloured ferrets. Jai.
  16. Yer you can only get black 'looking' heavily marked polecats. Or you could find a black footed ferret? At least its feet would be the requisite color. Jai.
  17. Who gives a f*ck what color it is? Jai.
  18. Yer thats what i was wondering and i thought it was dead but some folk told me that if you have had your puppy jabbed recently you and it should be kept away from unjabbed pups as you could infect them and so i wondered if this would also happen to ferrets. Or were they wrong altogether? Jai.
  19. You can congratulate yourself a bit matey, there are many many dogs that wouldn't act like that. And it's the synthesis of training, repetition and environmental factors (scent, sound, movement, shape, noise of prey). atb Jai.
  20. If you have recently had a pup jabbed for distemper, parvo etc. Should it be kept away from ferrets? I know that they can catch it and die, but would they be able to from a recently jabbed pup or from a person who has handled pup them handles them? And if so how long from last jabs will this still be a problem? atb Jai.
  21. We were 'discussing it' and came to a friendly conclusion. No need to stir it up again. And yes 1/2 grown, in a pan with button mushrooms and some nice fresh cut bacon, then strip the meat from the bones and wack it all in a baguette!
  22. So many opinions, so few facts. Ahhhhhhh the hunting life.
  23. Also what happens if you dont already have a buddy thats on here before you join - i didnt. Surely the system that works on your conduct whilst on the site is the only option.
