    Does this not count as both harassment and also discrimination, you cannot stop someone just due to skin color, having a beard, looking dodgy, if there is no reasonable cause and having a lurcher is not reasonable cause - especially if your are walking it - its plain discrimination.     Yer also (and i don't mean to be harsh) it's probably good to start off this coming season doing some beating/picking up and then offer to help out doing odd jobs etc. I do pest control on some local shoots and i'm not sure they would take a 12 year old on for the job, there is a little bit more to it than a wee spot of ferreting now and then. In order to get taken on for pest control and especially to get payed your going to need to be able to handle a shotgun and rifle (legally), and be a dab hand (and possibly posses) a good range of traps.     Also your going to need to do it properly - i.e ferret everything and back fill all the holes, then return every couple of days for a good long while and see what burrows have been re-opened, and hit them again and again until there is no new sign. Otherwise you just create a vacuum. However ferreting is not a good option, i would use a good range of traps in the burrows and snares on the runs and fences along with a good few nights lamping with rifle. Ferreting this time of year is much time for little result. atb Jai.

    im not a pro at ferreting but what is a pro??? i enjoy what i do and couldnt give a feck what you call it its sport to me aslong as i enjoy my self and the dog and ferrets get a run i dont stop ferreting summer/winter who cares maybe thats why ive got so much permission You missed my point.
