very true its not the foxs fault its a wild animal at the end of the day Aye man, to an opportunistic feeder like a fox a baby represents a pretty easy and pretty big meal, i'm really glad it didn't kill them obviously, but you can't really 'blame' the fox for acting like a fox and not 'humanly'.

I have also spent a lot of time living in different areas, with different groups of people, including the better part of a year living in Bute Town in cardiff which is something like 90% Somali. My point was that being involved in peoples lives, working with them to try and sort things out, you actually see the conflicts and contradictions, whereas just looking from the outside with an extremely prejudiced, pre-existing racist mindset . . . . . i just don't think you will ever see how backwards your racism really is. lol im looking from the outside.no offense but dont talk shit mate.i

Yes an obviously ALL black people are just inferior and wrong and bad and hey so are the muslims, jews, ginger people, disabled people . . . . . If you weren't so scarily backwards in your thinking it would be funny. How is all black people being inferior more acceptable than say 'all people with brown eyes are inferior - our country would go to the shit if we had a brown eyed pm'.

It's amazing how backwards some of the folk on here are. It's just embarrassing to the rest of us. I mean obviously if some one walked into the pub i was drinking in and shot a couple of people. . . . i would never 'grass' on the gun man . . . . thats just not cricket is it! I'd just sit there, stare into my pint and pretend nothing had happened. I mean F*CK those folk who just got killed and their families . . . . . can't go messing up my reputation as a no-grassing thug now can i? To be fair it gets a lot worse in the summer - we are all bored as f*ck. It also doesn't help (and i'm sorry if i offend) that a lot of folk into hunting these days are none too bright, and are into it all for questionable reasons. . mainly 'the kill'. . but like chalky said - each to their own (as long as they stay away from me )

Spent many many happy days ferreting the huge Rhododendron bushes on the local estates, and at the end of last season had some great sport ferreting some massive brush piles about 20/30 yards square. Often needs a few ferrets though as there is a lot of places for the rabbits to avoid them.

Aye they are also further south, i have a friend who traps fairly large numbers, he finds that they have been living inside large rabbit sets.

Aye thing is the hare can turn faster and sharper, throwing the dog off, and the deer has more to run into, if that makes sense - a lot are caught near hedges, fences, trees etc. The deer probably has an equal or greater straight running speed but the its all in the turn.
