  1. NOT EVERYONE HAS PERMISSION, WHO WANTS TO BE CAUGHT IN FIELD.DOGS CAN BE TRAINED AROUND MOTOR, MINE ARE 'SLIPPED' BY JUMPING OUT WINDOW WHEN I LET IT DOWN, JUMP BACK IN AS WELL. GOOD FOR FOXING, GET ON EM QUICKER. ALSO IF TOUGH RUN, YOU DONT LOSE TARGET IN BEAM. AND YOU DONT HAVE TO CARRY, LAMP, BATTERY, AND YOR KILLS, PLUS HOLD DOG LEAD. BATTERIES NEVER GO FLAT OR DIM.I DRIVE AROND FIELDS, BUT ON TRACKS OR STUBBLE, COMMON SENSE MATE WERE IN 21ST CENTURY, WHY MARCH FIELDS? I'd have thought driving a bloody great vehicle around might be a decent way to get noticed. And if you have no per
  2. Yer . . . . some kinda elitist . . . never a pleasant word . . . always a miserable b*****d.
  3. Where are the pet owners? As i said mine ARE pets - but i only keep working animals as pets - pets that work. If that makes sense - it's just nomenclature. They are pets in that they have names, are handled, played with and enjoyed. However they are selected for their working ability and worked very hard and kept in peak working condition. Same as the dogs . . . . working pets, pets that work etc etc Don't make them less good at their job than anyone elses just cos of the way i refer to them.
  4. Supersam has some right crackers and i would take birds bryn any day of the week.
  5. If i had gone to the effort of breeding a litter of pups it would be for their hunting ability etc and so therefore i would want to see how they faired at what they were bred for and also i don't think it would be wise letting an old lady take away an 8 week old running dog for a house pet. . . .. . . What kind of statement is that! On e of my dogs brother is down the road from us! The elderly couple made the 90mile journey to buy one, as they liked mine that much.. They have a 2 acre garden, and a massive pad. It is a very happy dog indeed! Greyhounds are f****d off all the
  6. Aye matey i know what you mean and wasn't suggesting you breed her anytime soon if ever and especially not at 2 years old. She's a cracker tho (and i really like whippets!). Was just thinking (in a theoretical way) that you own a pair of really nice dogs that i have seen a fair few times on here and would happily have in my kennels and the match between them (and that x) would be a good one - beddy/grey x whippet. It's just a shame you can't have litters of 1 pup. sorry mate i never took it in that way, that fella is on here lol Nae worries matey. . . . and fair play.
  7. The biting is perfectly natural in a pup as has been said. It is a means of them expressing themselves when they have few ways of doing so, also it is a form of play and learning that they would do with their litter mates and mum, which is what you have now become. You cant stop them doing it at that age, but can begin to put in place boundries i.e what is 'too far', and correct this with a tap and a 'no'. At this age they also really seek contact and so when you let her out she is probably really excited by you and the kid and so just wants to play play play. They also teathe and so will chew

  9. They are not countrymen full stop. They are thugs. It can't be blamed on lack of knowledge/experience . . . . it's a basic lack of any kind of respect.
  10. Cracking news - anything to do with your latest post on here on just random coincidence? WIther way it's SO good to finally hear of one making it home. Jai.
  11. Dogs are looking cracking as ever matey, a credit to you! The wee one is looking particularly fine today! How old is she? I've always thought that her and the beddy/grey could produce some interesting pups. Jai.
  12. Seen working ridgebacks in Africa - hard as coffin nails.
  13. They look like dark poleys mate. You got any pics of the parents?
  14. You are right -in the past these idiots seemed to just rotate - they were a small group who would be into one thing (and ruining it) one minute then quickly onto another. The sad thing these days is that there seems to be a insatiable flow of idiots who are sadly taking over most forms of country sport at the same time. At the moment the dog world is certainly the worst - both terriers and lurchers are being given a terrible name by the actions of what often seem like a majority. And the saddest thing is that there is little we can do about it . . . . some we can influence and teach, but most
  15. Guys a chump - offer once to help and correct him but to be fair some people really are not worth the effort and in trying to teach him not to be such a muppet you will have to associate with him which may reflect badly on you. I would have nothing to do with the guy. . . . he's another example of the kind of people who should never have ended up with a gun. It's one of the major issues with air rifles . . . . . . amongst all the sportsmen there are some proper SCUM. Get the fox control permission, do a good job, act well, make it very clear you have nothing to do with the guy and wait for him

  17. Of laguna lines by the looks of it?
  18. Only as an exception and favor to a friend. For example if a friends daughter wanted one as a pet and i knew it would get a good life and maybe the odd trip out, and would not be over fed or messed with then i would. I would NEVER however do it as routine or EVER advertise them as such.
  19. Cracking pups guys and with the work you lot put in i'm sure they wil do the biz. What i'd give to be able to teleport one of them over here!
  20. Congrats AA!!!!!!!!!!

  21. Yer the net curtain works quite well, but they still manage to get in somehow! I just tend to feed in the evening and just enough to be consumed in one sitting, so the flies aint so much of a problem.
  22. That goes for hunting in general mate. I've noticed the air rifle crowd become particularly active this time of year. . . . . but if you complain they always shout 'pest control' or 'i'll lose my permission' - not if you did you f*cking job properly during the winter!
  23. Yer its funny, i noticed that also. When i hang woodies in the court the heads disappear fast and not a trace is left, not even the beak! It just goes to show why feeding whole carcass is good as there must be nutrients and vits etc in the brain, eyes etc which they really need.
  24. WRONG !!! I just control foxes for a living, and my prefered way of doing this is by using a rifle. The real HEROS that kill with rifles, are our troops in other countries fighting for ARSEHOLES like you. Google Fox Attack on baby twins, if i had shot that one i might have been hailed as a HERO !!! they grow up to look like this !!! You have the mentality of a child.
