The mrs sister and brother in law have a Cairn thing they rescued as a pup, little grey/black, scruffy haired, with radar ears, and barks like feck. But the little bitch is tough as old boots, and has a natural aptitude for work from what i've seen. Brother in law is a forester on an estate and she spends plenty of her time ratting, squirrelling, checking traps etc and has shown a keenness to get to ground. Who knows, but from what i've seen, i wouldn't be surprised if she could be dug to, be a bayer i'm sure. But I like her, loads of character.

Get yourself a good old fashioned mutt mate. Something with a bit of collie or lab or whatever in it, easily to live with, hardy as feck, go on forever, usually have character and quite often surprise you.

I grew up in Wales, stopped in the Czech republic for a while, then Hungary, for a bit, then moved to Scotland for five years. . . . then moved back to Hungary for two and a bit years, and then to Slovakia for a year. And now I live next door to the house I grew up in, which my folks live in still. . . who I see most days. And my other half is a southerner, who lived in London, and around the south, then moved to France, then back to southern England, then went to Australia to live, and when she came home, went to stay with her folks, who had moved to Wales, about 15 mins from where I am,

Aye, the good news is that after a bit of a paddy, I've sat myself down and i'm pretty sure I can think my way around it. We're building a barn after all . . . . I'll stop being a fanny now

She lives half an hour away and is pretty much living at mine. Well sort it though, where there is will there's a way. Was just feeling a bit defeated earlier!

I'm looking into it mate! Hopefully it will sort itself out. I just don't want to get to the point where I have stuff I need to be near for then have to move house half an hour away. Fingers crossed something will turn up.

Got to move out of my house I think, and can't afford to live in this area and not in this house, so its either move onto the land with the dogs or go back north. I'm gutted, fed up and pissed off.

Thinking of selling up if anyone is interested. . . .

Cheers lads I was really impressed with the pair, and they were very much like my bitch in temperament, conformation etc. A pretty even litter. He has bred the next generation, and has a five month bitch out of Gwens brother, Merlin ( the black and tan dog) to another related bitch (can't remember what she is). And he half convinced me to put Gwens sire back over her one day . . . .

What happens if the BT had night vision?

American, English or French? And Eagle, Barn, or Little?

Stuck a GPS on the dogs the other day, it was interesting to see how much more ground they cover than us on a walk.

I had a really nice surprise visit today! I'd just got back from doing some work on the shoot, and a pick up I didn't recognise pulled up at my gate. . . . Out stepped a man (whose name i'll leave out), who I had met last summer at the Pelenna Valley hunt show, who had spotted my little hound and stopped me, telling me that he had bred the sire, and had a belly sister and brother to my bitch. We had a good chat, and I saw him once more last summer at another hunt show. Anyway, in came the pick up, and out of the back, jumped a scruffy terrier, and two cracking little hounds, immed

Do you mean the corner gaps? Because there is no gap between the bottom of the panels (the tubular bar) and the ground. There is a mesh skirt, running all around the bottom, and up a couple of feet on the panels, and the corners will be blocked extra with some massive kerbstones in the morning, now the two are done. I'm fairly paranoid about the foxes mate, as next door I have around 5000 birds to keep foxy out of If I could, i'd put electric wires around. As it is, I think the other type of wire will do Oh yer and the neighbours keep lots and lots of poultry in really poor sh

That Heras fencing is on a hard standing of compacted tarmac and stuff mate, unless the fox has a shovel, I think it will be ok Time will tell But I put a two foot mesh skirt on anyway, just to be sure The area at the front, now that i've scraped it off and cut back the cover, is pretty handy. It was where the guy used to park lorrys, at one point, so there is a proper retaining wall, with drainage, and a good hard compacted yard, and below the mud the entrance track was also compacted hardcore, with a red brick edging lol Handy anyway. But that's why they are there and no

Not the best photos, been a bit hectic Here are the ducks in their new home. Three Khaki Campbell ducks, and a trio of Abacot Rangers. The drake has already been having some fun. The three Embden Goslings, currently living between straw bales in the garage Funny little fuckers they are And I didn't get round to taking pictures of the hens, but they are buff sussex, and at the moment in a chicken run on the drive, but they are going in here tomorrow. Next to the ducks The mrs just told me we're getting more chooks And my old man said th

Well I see it like this mate.... They can twist there meals too suit the customers but if I've read it correctly then there will be no pork sold. Is that correct? If so they have taken away 'my' choice in my country. I'll no be back. You do realise that it's only certain shops, in certain areas, shops which the owner / manager no doubt has realised that very few non muslims enter, as they don't come to that part of town. So effectively, I doubt it will stop you getting your pork subway, unless you happen to drive into a muslim area and look to buy a sandwich. Which I doubt. And

Yer, it looked like it belonged in another country mate.
-
Yes, I saw some photos of them, proper set of cutters.
-
Ok, so I don't really understand the issue? If you run a food business, and that outlet is located in an area, which has a high population of muslims, and the vast majority of passing foot fall is muslim. . . . .. you would have to be a retard if you didn't take measures to get those folk through the doors. It's just standard.

Oh yer it was 6 lads arrested and they are 100% proper wild boar, not x breeds etc. Lad who kept that had a dangerous wild animal licence, he's kept them for years.
