  1. Aye, been left at home with the dogs, ferrets, chickens, ducks, geese, pigs and sheep lol. She's having fun though, making me jealous telling me who she is watching haha. Been there, done that, and now i'm like Socks, not keen on crowds, prefer to stay in the sticks with the animals.

  5. Surely there is no such thing as the 'best lurcher men' just as there is no such thing as the 'best cross'. Different people have different ideas of what the best thing is, because its the best thing for them, as do they have different opinions of what makes a good dog man. I'm sure there are men that some folk would think great, that others would think a bell end. Same as dogs, i've seen dogs that have been really rated, that I wouldn't have any use for, and wouldn't kennel, usually because they lacked abilities in the areas that I deemed important.   6. I haven't really added anything to this thread for a while, i've been grafting away though. Lots of veg planted. We got rid of the chickens, enlarged the duck enclosure, and have a couple of ducks and a bantam sitting on eggs (duck), as well as some in the incubator, so hopefully soon we should have a few ducklings. We also ended up with a couple of day old call ducks, which have imprinted on me and the mrs, which is quite funny, they are tiny little things, proper characters, and love a good swim.   11. Why does the dog need to be fighting fit in June / July? I take my rabble out for an hour or so each evening just before dark, they have a mooch around and chase a few bunnys. . . . . that's enough for me and them.

  14. 10-11 months matey, still mad as a bag of frogs, but been a good dog to train, smart and responsive. And taken to the lamp like a dream.
