  1. just wondering does anyone in scotland work wheaton crosses am quite intrested in the x been looking for one but seems to be none about does any know any pups or dogs for sale! what do you make of these dogs hope to get my first lurcher its the right time now got a keepers job and always liked look of wheaton x or even deer hound x for the hills Atb Rory

  6. well me and mate my planned to go on a bender but not a normal bander a ferreting one started out in coupar on friday number where i picked up my new jill i went to my permission well first day was not bad we got 5 with 3 escaping the net and one killed under ground my new ferret bolted two and my 8 month old hob also bolted tow with my mates bolting the rest so that was friday out the way now for saturday got in to dundee where we put mine and his ferret down a 4 holer while waiting on the bus bang 2 rabbits hit the net by 8 so it was looking good then got the bus out to wards copar angus whe

  8. well my mate has a castrated hob and i am getting a new jill on friday and was wondering when the jill comes into season will the castratedhob still take her out of season cause i have heard from people that castrated hobs wont do that and just wanted your opoion on this though would be best place to ask?   9. look for a ferret in perthshire area good worker would be good have a good home for it with a court that would fit 6 ferrets but only have two the now so plenty of room and it will be worked a lot as i just got new permission on an estate Cheeers Rory

  14. well i have two young ferrets that i have been out with a couple of times and are coming along steady enough but sometimes just with their age tehy start to prance about and get excited and dont do that job right so i am looking for eithier a experinced hob or jill ferret that has at least a season under there belt, looking for them in the perthshire area ATB Rory

  21. all burrows she stays in them then when he comes out starts dancing about the place only started couple of weeks ago
  22. i have two ferrets for about 6 months now but recently one has had a chanage in behavoiur everytime i let it out it runs away and if i go to pick it up it jumps about like the ferret dance and when its in a rabbit hole takes a while to come out just sit there when i go to pick it up goes to nip me doesnt hurt but pain in the arsse any ideas why this is they are about 7 months now ATB Rory
  23. well i am doing gamekeeping at elmwood college and i have a portfilio to do i have done red deer,rabbit and red grouse so far but i am doing black grouse at the moment and i have covered everything apart from these two questions 1. do black grouse perch like pheasants or do they live on the ground and 2. do they live in a covey like red grouse or alone as much infomation of these too thing would be a great help looked everywhere but nothing/ ATB rory
