what do you mean by game? there is only ONE dog in existence that can be defined as game and we all know what dog that is. even some of them are not game lol . i think people misuse the term game a lot i would not refer to any hunting dog as game as it is not the correct word to use

mate i don't know much about hunting over that way but if it were me and wanted a hard fast dog.i would go for something along the lines of deerhound,greyhound ,airdale terrier

yes have seen dozens and dozens of pigs mobbed together..here in australia hunting feral pigs is a lively hood for some...so playing around with shit dogs is not on!!!we sell every pig here over 30 kg for export....we d onot chase hogs through the scrub and head them in the direction of shooters.ou dogs must find and hold them no matter what until we arive to knife the hog...but what works here or there don't necesarily work anywhere else...anyhow what breed are the dogs you using?

i wouldn't feed dogs like that if they were just following hogs yapping.in fact they would not even come out of the bush!!pups of 8 months old if mine arn't flying in and catching those hogs or at least trying to get a ear in there mouth are gone

i got a good idea.don't work ya bloody dogs in the heat of the day!the biggest killer of dogs here in oz is the heat.if ya love ya dogs work him early morn late arvo and through the night..after all once a dog has been over heated he is not going to be the same again he will cook quicker after gettign cooked the first time,because it has already damaged his kidneys.cheers

mate i run bull,stag,greys and use them on feral pigs,they very fast and will hold good hogs on the own once on contact they go straight in and hang until told of..i have sold pups to dingoe chasser here that use them for running down and caching dingoes.they work best when run in pairs and will kill dingoes but best to go up and shoot dingoes before to much battle is done,now these dogs get used every day of the week and are good all round dogs and don't take much training,just get them out in the bush when they are old enough to start chasing
