  1. Good session Phantom and a good read, 40 plus yards eh, what poundage is your gun set at,and type of pellet you using out of interest
  2. Nice one Salclalin, cant help the feeling of satisfaction when they catch, a good alternative to air rifle, mark 4`s or terriers
  3. Looking through last years photos, thought I`d share a couple with you, after reading GS Waters pinned topic
  4. And another one, not putting all 100 plus on, will get some done with rabbits this year.
  5. None as it happened there was a grey that run straight in the jaws of one closely followed by the doe, but I take your point, dont forget these were young terriers then and since gained alot of experience, they now stand individually back over their own hole and wait, the rats dont get far nowadays, having said that they were hampered by the dead branches
  6. Hi Zini I saw this set up last year on youtube by snypercat, as it happened I had a Sony dcr-sr50 which I used for recording terrier work. I have just read the pinned topic on the set up and didnt realise I was not the only one using this method, however my attachement is different, I use a digiscope adapter, the ones birdwatchers use. It simply screws in the lens end of camcorder and then it slips over scope and is held in place with 3 grubscrews which help centralise the cross hairs in the viewfinder giving more accuracy. I have a tripod set up and attached a pole roller (what fishermen use
  7. First thing I`d do is seperate the ferrets, for one, so they dont pass whatever theyve got onto others, two, ferrets sense a week one and will try to kill it and then three if you value your ferrets then get them to the vets if it looks serious Trev
  8. lol, ahh but you are the marksman of the year 2010, wouldnt expect anything else,
  9. And now for something different, spidering at 15yrds, lol
  10. Stick some more up then I'm not that frar from Blacktoft actually only 4 or 5 miles. But from here its a real pain in the ass to get there not having any transport anymore. I used to ride through Blacktoft on my hog on the way home after a stressful night's work in Goole. And during the summer when not working it was just nice to get out there, take the helmet off and just have a nice slowish cruise on the hog knowing i wouldn't see anyone for miles and miles miles. Soooo peaceful. You from there originally? Phantom Such lovely scenery out there From Thorne further do
  11. The digicam on nightvision is limited to distance, it is increased by simply attaching infra red filter to lamp obove gun, I can see clearly up to 50yrds in complete darkness, on the viewfinder that is. Trev
  12. Hi Fella, you ok. didnt get chance to say goodbye at edrd Trev
  13. Cheers Phantom Didnt know whether to post it here or on video section. Initially saw this set up on youtube by Snypercatcher. I copied his set up attatching my camcorder to scopes and now have a full dvd of all the best shots. Something different I supose. Notice you on the banks of humber, anywhere near Blacktoft Trev

  18. Tried the large blue plastic barrels a couple of years ago with hole cut out of lid, although great for hygiene not good for condensation from dogs breath, runs down the innersides and wets the dogs bedding in no time, seemed to happen more in colder weather, gone back to ply boxes.
