  6. this is the dog you bred, why dont you repeat the mating!! 15.5" 10kg very strong dog! If Im right this is Milo from Tilly x Gall, nice stamp, although tilly is a small bitch, 12 inch to shoulder it was hoped she threw some smaller Gallies stamp. Obviously from the looks she threw bigger dogs. Has he done anything to ground yet. Any more pics from side view. Cheers Dillan

  8. Well done TB, good honest post, all in a days work, Gonna try myself tomorrow rain or no rain
  9. Just think she hasnt the biting power, soft mouthed maybe
  10. Thats the point, anything bigger than a rat, she will defo come worst off in a bad way. Luke wants to try and improve on the bitch by putting a stronger headed dog over her so the next generation will hopefully carry a better head. Plummers vision was to create a dog with strong jaws that could crunch a rat, drop it dead and move onto the next one in quick sucsession, thats why he added the bull to the pool. If she is not killing rats after biting it an shakin it and you dont think its because of a weak muzzle/jaw, can you suggest anything else where the problem might be. Believe me I have wat
  11. Well done fella, hope this is first of many
  12. Ever tried walking 4 terriers on normal leads. The end result always resembles a may pole.
  13. I think what luke is refering to is the bitches jaw/muzzle. This bitch has been out with me on several occasions with my pack. She has an excellent nose on her for finding and will graft all day. However, although the pic is not the best view, she has a short snipey muzzle which we have found is quite weak. We know this because although she pulls off spectacular catches with rats, she struggles to finish them off, many times we have taken them off her to find they`re still alive. In my oppinion she will struggle with foxes if she gets too close up, if you know what I mean. Having said all that
  14. Well done BB and dog. One happy farmer there.
  15. Well done Sounder and dog, Love it when a plan comes together. ATB Dillan
  16. We`ve had `Lost warriors` but what do you do with them as a fitting tribute. Call me sentimental if you wish, but I have a place near to me that holds good memories as a child idling the summer days away fishing and sailing at a reservoir, courting, hunting etc. It is a beautiful place especially when its approaching dusk with the varying shades of red, orange and yellow sky surrounding a perfect sphere of a glowing sun appearing to touch the waterline in the distance of the reservoir, broken by siloweted oak trees and boathouse. From this view there is a hedge line which divides the bank and
  17. Well done Brog and to the dogs.
  18. Not too sure the law has been tested. As long as you have a cert from the vet who carried out the opp and proof of being chipped, you are ok. However on another note, having got an invite from Great Yorkshire show last year to show my dogs, I called them to question showing my dogs with docked tails after ban was introduced. Not happy with their answers, I went on to call organisers, RSPCA, Dog wardens, Council, Police, and head office vet council to see where I stood regarding showing docked tailed dogs,(not that I implicated any or TGYS) each one seemed to pass the book regarding who was pol
  19. Surely not chipped at 2-3 days old!!!
  20. About 3yrs ago I run a pack of Plummers doing some bushin, got to farm yard and Taz pushed 2 foxes out, he took the rest of the pack with him to a banking formed from a dug out fishing pond. Managed to tie up most of the dogs with the exception of Taz and his daughter Rue who were pushing well on in a one holed earth at the waters edge into a high banking. Initially I wasnt worried but after 4hrs of distant baying and myself tunneling in 8ft meetin a `t` junction I could hear them in the left tunnel, not wanting to go any further as it was already dangerous I did start to worry as they had no
  21. Nice one BBB Went down new junction after work other day for a mooch with 2 young bitches lookin for mink. Nothing about until Bess shot in bramble patch, heard her running through water on otherside and lost her for 15 mins. She appeared from nowhere covered in blood, had a close look and it was obvious it was fox. Had a look round but couldnt find anything . Never mind, cant win them all. Out earlier dogs managed 2 rats and I shot 4, had to get back to find out who killed Archie LOL. Off out ferreting tomorrow to top up freezer with rabbits an check a few earths on sunday. ATB Dil
