found it a home, so all is well, i noticed that it was very active and friendly so he is going to check it over for ticks etc and fattern it up with the veiw of hunting with it.

i use a 20 bore with fixed chokes, think they are 1/2 and 3/4, i find the 20 bore a very nice gun, only one problem, the shells are not cheap.

i started ferreting this weekend, mainly training for a novice ferret and owner

did you say 12 shot !! i didnt know they made shotguns to hold that many.

Went out again today and came away with 7 woodies and 1 rabbit

i went to today. on freshly cut peas, i got there at half one, got set up with 12 decoys ( shells) placed in a u shape. set up he hide and boom they came in very well. 15 in 1 1/2 hir. and the total was 37 with 5 left behind as i could not find them

it was local but there has been f**k all when me and stubby went yesterday and same today when i went by myself. The magnets dont work here
