Cheers Bud,i hope your right,ive had the gun over a year and im not out every week with it like other shooters are, I prefer the dogs.Hopefully I get out over xmas but Im not banking on venison for boxing day dinner,ha ha.

I have a 12g Lanber and im struggling to hit the target.Ive only ever had Lanber o/u shotguns before but I felt quite positive at the target and not a bad shot.Now im not sure if im getting old and turned into a shit shot or if its something to do with the gun but any advice would be grateful.

ive just picked up a cracking little brindle brokencoated pup,his sire is WhippetxGreyhound WhippetxGreyhound Dam is DeerhoundxGreyhound.both parents working well and looking well,im just curious if any one out theres reared thr same pups and to what avail.thanks.

Ive recently bought a Bear Grylls sheath knife,happy with the knife but the plastic sheath is plop! Im just curious to know if any one has got the same problem and more to the point has anyone made a leather alternative,id be interested in buying one if anyone has one for sale. thanks.

No shes never had a litter before,but she has had a phantom pregnancy,i don't know if that means anything.

During the night my Russell bitch had 7 pups to my Patterdale dog,3 pups had a cleft palate.My Patterdale dog has sired a couple of litters before but only to Patterdale bitches,there has never been any abnormalities before.Could the palate problem be due to the cross or just a genetic disorder?.

Fcuk the police,their not interested in this,were all tarred with the same brush,its like the image portrayed of dog lads 20 years ago,tattoos,earings 'ard looking dogs etc,everytime somebody hits the tabloids being caught hare coursing there automatically involved in organized crime same as terrierwork.The only way yours dogs are safe is by keeping your mouth shut and keeping it tight.Telling the world what the dog dos everytime you take it out isn't nessasary.CCTV never stopped anybody taking what they wanted never mind a dog in a yard.Sorry to sound harsh lads but its true.You can guarantee -

Your not too keen to collect the dog then tarquin but you,d have it dropped in your lap..sounds like you might have thyroid problems or maybe even seen a quid or two to be made',Badgercourt Breeding' over 1 of your bitches..££££,You could get your goldfish a tummy tuck But on a serious note nobody commented on the dogs shyness to the gun,its NO good if its gunshy when I need it to work with a gun,or am I wrong ive never had 1,but I have had lurchers what opened up when chasing and I have had terriers that wont stay until dug too and I have hunted hounds that weren't true to fox,i didn't bree

Thanks for the feedback lads but the plot thickens,itook him out today with the gun because he,s meant to have been shot over.He was a bit more settled without the lurcher (no competition I presume)but still had his 5 minutes of madness,i called him numerous times and also whistled,eventually he skulked towards me ,I squatted down and shook him firm by the scruff.Still a bit rangy I let him hunt a knock below my house which could hold any thing,i walked on top.He rose a pheasant,now trying again,all the time I was calling him into me and praising him.He then got a hunt on a rabbit which I saw

Ive just been given a 2 yr old Springer dog hopefully going to use it to work with my lurchers and gun,The dogs well bred but has had nothing done with it.When I take it out it gos too far ahead,the dog is searching and trying but obviously if anything was to break cover it would too far ahead.The dog is very nervy,cowering when it comes in,then it just takes of again,....Is he too old to put manners on him or am I wasting my time.Thanks for any advice.

Putting this up for a mate of mine who had 2 black terriers stolen out of his yard near Kiltealy in wexford he also had 4 lurchers which they never touched,just targeted the terriers.He knows it could be a long shot getting them back but this is just to keep you all on guard and if you get anything offered please pm me,theres no pics but both pups are yearlings

Ive just bought a kawasaki klf 3oocc 4x4 quad and im wanting to trick it out so it can be used for hunting,im interested to see how other people have made there quad to suit their sport ie Terrier work,stalking etc.Any pics would be appreciated,thanks.
