hi lads i have a 9 month old terriar that hasent had her tail docked,av asked vets to dock it but they keep saying no til she brakes it or damages it badly, no i was told by a freind i cud get a sheep band put it on her tail and in a few weeks it wud die off,wud this work and how wud it affect dog ie wud it heal properly and wud it cause dog any pain atb cairnsy That would be cruel mate. It only works in lambs because the tail is growing and gradually gets starved of blood and then falls off. To put a band on a dog which has probably finished growing would just cause pain. You cant stress enough how well trained and mannered the dogs are they dont bark or howl you dont allow them to foul in the house or kennels.Theyre also always on a lead and under strict control in public etc.You live for your dogs and you wouldnt go out without them and you would be really depresssed and getting rid would be detrimental to your health Detrimental to your health, as for me, i do not fear insanity, i am insane we have 2 bedroom flat ,3 dogs a ferrit in shed and av never had no problems with council it a first 4 me atb -
