  5. its the off season so apart from a bit mooching what do you do with the dog during the summer? i have two of mine at agility training,it just keeps them focused obedient and fit. i also have the big dog in scurrys and competitions at game fairs. anybody do anything unusual with their dogs? i know one lads dog is used as a mountain rescue dog. it doesnt work as a hunting dog.
  6. flint i would just pack in defending your self they are your dogs you can do with them what you want, its no ones business but your own. people can have an opinion thats their choice. its an unusual x . the biggest mistake you made was coming on here and talking about them. but i will say this if there was a dog i wanted for a specific purpose i would pay the money to get it. a dog is worth what its worth. good luck flint you dont have to defend your actions

  19. Before i start i am a complete novice to air gun field shooting, im a lurcher man and im happy with my dogs and ferrets wandering the fields causing bunny mayhem. but due to pressure from a farmer to get rid of the rabbits come hell or high water ive invested in a rifle. The little field i chose to shoot in last night borders onto a bracken covered valley which is littered with sets,so as soon as i got out of the carrabbits were bouncing all over the field, i managed to get one shot off from a standing position but as the gun weighs the equivalent of a small car and i hadnt shot it like th
  20. Just to say i received today a prosport i bought from Shay, its in superb condition and is shooting like a dream, grouping consistently within an inch at 25m no probs. Shay is as good as his word this has been an excellent deal and shay even threw in a scope which is more than adequate for my needs,as well as a tin of washed and lubed fx pellets. Its a beautiful gun and im over the moon with it and one of the features i didnt realise it had was that the stock is right handed and my 19 year old hunting mad son is left handed!! what a result A big thankyou to Shay i hope to keep i
  21. get delivery of my new gun (Second hand prosport) today.and at 46 i havent used an air rifle in 20 years so it will take a bit of getting used to. i bought it primarily for rabbit bashing as some new permission i have has insisted all rabbits must go, and as its quarrys and old lead mines the dogs wont be used and a centre fire or rim fire cant really be used safely. if this works out i may invest in a posh gun one day
  22. you need me, my ferrets and my little dog. antis dont realise the damage that rabbits do once they get a hold they are a bloody plague. cracking bit of sport there enjoy
