they dont make a sound bud,theyre silent.great dog to hunt but you might have to watch em with small terriers in the cover,depends on the dog,some are quiet this lad does make a bit of a noise in the stop we have a better one in kennels we have just lined a bitch with him both 100 percent workers tested to the full and silent ted will be around four now id say he was only a young dog when that photo was taken Well hope my pup out of him turns out well .Thanks for the info Ken there is nothing wrong with the dog though mate he did his job in style

The Dam of my pup was a pure Wheaten and the sire was a Wheaten x Bull (pictured) both worked cover very very well and are used on fox drives in Cumbria.So from what little i know i would say yes!
