  1. best thing is nettles themselves, they contain an antivenom type thing that relieves the sting better than anything else, when i was dead young about 5 or 6 we were at a pick your own place for strawbs and they had an adventure play area with a big zip line and a pool of water to drop into, i didnt dare let go went to the end of the zip line, hit the tyre and with the handle being wet just flew off the end into a huge patch of nettles taller than me, i only had my swimming trunks on and was screaming the whole place down, literally stung everywhere, anyways the farmer came out to see what was

  4. used hills science plan for the pup up to year old,really good but its well expensive, diet plan sounds like its for fat dogs? might not provide the energy for a running dog. can you get other types of hills feed? if so can you get us some? thats well cheap!

  6. you say "any shape or size" surely the dog needs to have speed. Just to get a long side one of our fastest deer in the country.? brave landowner, bucks not in season are they?
  7. 29tts capable of taking most of whatever any other dog can. good feet,coat,very intelligent. but very slow to mature and sensitive. cracking looking pair that mate! fair play
  8. yeah mines 18 month now, wasnt sure whether to do it or wait till next season as he has been slow maturing but glad we did, think its just what he needed! cheers mate!

A few of you know me and my mate been struggling to find much to run the dogs on, its all our first seasons so were all learning massively. had a slow start due to me being injured and my dog was laid off earlyer on in season..... any way we have had few bunnys, no big bags but one or two here and there, and a couple of shot and retrieved long ears . but last night saw us begin the end of the season in style, been out a few hours and found nowt as per usual, lots of other lamps about. then right at other end of the field were, in we see something bigger , big rabbits , lamp off walk ha
  10. if raised together from pup would they not just get on? i aint claiming to know, just thought they would, and if not how come? kept different types of dog together in house, retriever, terrier amd a colliex for a while they were sound.

  12. apparently it did happen, i was told they would put a rabbit or hare skin over a rock or lump of concrete think it was more for lampers though so when the eyes light up in the beam the dog runs full pelt at it, might be aload of bull but thast what i been told.
  13. i heard round my old way in lincs they used to put dummy hares in that were concrete inside and dogs would come back with bottom jaw hanging off etc, nasty stuff
  14. out last night for 4 hours before we git fed up of it, saw two bunnies. they dont like it that windy near me it seems
  15. yeah gonna have go tonight myself, 35mph winds never been out this windy, our first season so we'll see how it goes, he who dares!
