  9. that made me laugh big time .. the fact that you admit to going on land you dont have permission on yet you condem those and threaten those who do it to you ....double standards eh!!! cant have it all ways can you ! eh i have the permisson off farmer where i hop , but keepers a prick and wont let me on, and keeper dont give a f**k about farmers rabbits! and this other land is on the border of my land, so farmer turns a blind eye to me! coz he know i'm a good lad and dont smash his land up like the scuby boys!! my point it people killing things and leaving them where they fall what i
  10. she certainly needs to loose some mate, but take it easy with her, not too much too soon from a long lay up, you got all summer to get her fitness back up there atb
  11. for me its very important now, i used to live rural and basically had miles of open land behind the house so wasnt so important, now i live in the big city (hopefully not for much longer) and i have lots of parks and woodland to walk in but there full of dog walkers, jogger cyclists kids etc etc. and me and my missus both work 9-5 so he's alone most of day and i wouldnt keep him outside round here so he's gotta be laid back. luckily my bullx is the biggest softie ive known (in house and on walks) and he really needs to be part of the family unit, all be it at the bottom, or he whines and sulks
  12. complete bunch of clueless pricks, get a fishing rod! my pups 18 months old seen a fair bit over the season (after the feeze when we eventually had one) but just learning, he has impressed me, and yes he could definately do with more hunting and yes he may not be as good come start of next season with 6 month off and it will take more effort to get him there, but isnt that really what its all about? that and respecting what you hunt
  13. dont get much racier than that! nice one

  18. fishing, fishing, fishing, fishing, did i mention fishing? in fact my local lake seems to be full of bigger game in the, surrounding woods this year, first for a few years, found three groups of roe last night while just putting some bait in, so gonna have to keep the bullx chained up while im there for a while
  19. mines the softest dog i've ever owned (in house) he's 2nd gen 1st cross but when we're out that all changes, one of the first times we were out this season we slipped the other dog on a fast bunny a distance away so was a long run and mine was going mental that i woulnt let him go ending up having to wrestle him to the ground and he was biting me to let him go, was actually quite scary and i was thinking what have i got into with this lad. anyway i gave him a bit of a hiding (nothing too bad) and took him back to the car, since then he's never done it, but his drive is unbelievable and im a

  21. a lot of local nature reseres use a small flock of specialist selective grazing sheep an/or cattle for grassland/heathland conservation. these are ideal for getting your dog used to them and no angry farmers to shout at you. helped me no end, also they tend to be fairly small flocks so dont seem to excite the dog so much.
  22. ill try and get some up soon mate, only just worked out how to do it the other night.
