If only you knew the half of it, the farmer was a great old boy, one of a kind. YES he was in the wrong for having the gun, yes he was in the wrong for shooting at two very well known career criminals, thankfully the jury and the judge were on the ball and could see why he had done it. Anyone out there think he should go to prison, well your too late as he is no longer with us unfortunately. Dont know how this item has suddenly cropped up as it was several years ago when it happened, so dont go trying it now as the rules of fair play may well have changed.

I wonder if they do a tracker for a ferret that alerts you to when its got a rabbit cornered, would help me no end. I have never had a problem with having a knife, been stopped a few times which ive always appreciated bearing in mind the arses in transit vans towing caravans around my area are always after a decent 4x4. if you can prove youve got it legit, it shouldnt be a problem. i often carry a hedge knife when ferreting and thats a seriously bladed article in any mans book however its also a tool,,,similar to some of the idiots on this ere forum. HOW FAR YOU WILLING TO TRAVEL, ive had ferrets in the past with lumps under throat, really bad abscess caused by infection from eating bones that have punctured the inner lining of throat area. i think it was a gland or something, vet where i am is brilliant, some arses will say knock it on the head but then again these would no doubt say the same thing about a family member as well. im only across the border down the A17 it depends how far you want to pay to have put right. DO NOT USE VASELINE or for that matter anything that blocks the air supply to the tick. Yes the tick will die however it will in the process basically puke back all the blood that it has sucked out, one dead tick followed by a sick ferret. You are obviously on the old internet, go onto a ferret welfare website, these people know what they are talking about so TAKE THE ADVICE, the one thing i use now having had a ferret with literally hundreds of tiny ticks (rescued) was frontline spray, visit your vet buy a spray bottle for about £20 it will last you absolutely ages, i have one from last year

The real issue is that its down to everyone that works in the countryside to educate the idiots that just want to leave footprints in the mud, how about showing them the rabbits already taken and even better, offer them a cleaned rabbit with the advice on how to skin and cook it, its all to easy to carry on complaining about these muppets but what satisfaction you can get from spreading the hunting gospel that the rabbits cause damage, they destroy crops and young trees and all you are doing is helping the farmer, bearing in mind the farmer no doubt subscribes to the said FARM WATCH.
