Well Langouroux despite various recommendations you have chosen very well indeed with that calibre and i can guarantee you wont be sorry pal Most guns will feel unbalanced especially with mods fitted no matter how much you spend. I had a new out of the box Tikka T3 Lite fitted with a T8 i then put a big Leupold scope, never chopped the barrel kept the same scope on it and same mod and killed plenty of Deer. Big fecking Deer.. The only modification that i made to that gun was that i customised the screw with an angle grinder which stopped the trigger from being made lighter. Good luck

Ultimate all purpose hunting round for Europe is the 6.5x55. Full stop. Ric well ricw all the charm of a low flying brick as usuall! although you do have a point, as i have learnt how to stalk with a sauer 6.5x55 but its a wee bit on the pricey side! i did look a tikka in 6.5 and my friend can home load for me.......maybe that is a good choice! It would be the only sensible choice to go 6.5

If i didn't know better drooper i`d swear that the last picture was taken on my favorite bit of ground. Like you the guy`s were out yesterday local to me on the quad controlling Deer i think the correct term used by the "Pro`s" is Removing Anyway as i watched this guy take out two mature Hinds off a bipod whilst still seated on the quad i felt a tinge of jealousy which is unlike me,lol. But yes its a hard life Drooper....

It`s only on rare occasions that you see legs on working dogs the same thickness as a mans wrist. That quality only appeals to a dedicated few Neil this dog here sired by Okaro Max stands at 22 inch and at 17 month old he`s 19 kg in weight. I previously said he was 14 month which was incorrect..

See those ginger eye brows foxy well there the direct result from strong Viking genes It was those that put the B0llocks in Britain,lol. Muntjac drooper there about every where in my area but you very rarely see them. If you know what your looking for the signs of them can be seen quite frequently such as dropping,hair on bramble runs and along fence lines but the biggest thing that go`s unnoticed is there hoof prints. After walking through the majority of the 500 odd acres of mixed woodland and fields with a team of beaters along with half a dozen dogs i did`nt hold out much chance of a decent stalk come afternoon? We flushed plenty of Deer onto surrounding land which were all Fallow along with one single Muntjac Doe which my Terrier flushed out.
