    Fat is an essential part of a dogs diet, like I said before chicken wings/legs and beef mince from the supermarket will workout cheaper, be more convenient and IMHO be better for your dog than the rabbit??? but its your dog do as you like .......... rabbit will be on top of chudleys greyhound and a bit of red meat

    Both a bit too far for me, thanks anyway. I want rabbit for my racing whippets as its low in fat and high in protein, the get they get a bit of bone that beef doesnt provide, and a bit less fat than chicken carcase provides. I find it very helpfull in keeping their weight down a little when I need to.

    I live in staffordshire, no budget I can spend what I like, but that doent mean I want to throw money at it. Some good 2nd hand gear will do me fine. With nets does the material they are made from matter?????????????? Thanks for all the advice guys

    Hi Guys I have 3 ferrets coming up to 6 months old. I have some new permission. What equipment would you recommend for someone starting out? What sort of nets what type of locator boxes etc I understand some of this will depend on the type of ground you cover but in general? cheers Andy

    yes I race at hoe, rabbitting isnt great for race dogs, they pick up too many injuries, and it ruins them for racing. Some dogs dont want to chace a dirty rag when they hve tasted bunny!

    Hi I am a whippet men through and through. I have 4 that I race very sucessfully. I would love a dog for lamping. What would you guys suggest as the best for rabbits, I dont want anything too big as my whippets are small 20" tts. so I want something ideally 21" or under. cheers for any advice.

    Whats the best dvd to teach me a bit about lamping, I know going out with someone would be the best way, but it would be nice to to have a bit of an idea 1st.

    No arguing there mate, non peds are probably 5-10yds infront of a good pedie whippet over 150 yds. I have been to Old hall non ped club with my pedies the last few winters to give thm a run, they give me a 5yd handicap and I never beat them.

    Pedigree whippet at the moment Run at Mill is a good stud dog, some of his pups are unbeatable as he was when he was racing. Evansent is another good dog, pups from him are young but starting to do well. Both these were fantastic champs.

    Sorry not been on for a while, £50 as he is unproven, he is out of racing champ Evansent, his dam is outy of racing champ red devil. Racing lines, he has been 2nd at the National champs twice now. 2 years old

    I have convinced the father in law to build me a lure machine for my whippets. What is the best string to use and where can I get it. And what do you use to make the lure itself, I dont want to make one that they will pull apart in seconds. Tips on a drum for the lure machine would be helpful too! Lure machine is a starter motor fixed to half a sack trolley for easy transportation. thanks Andy
