Fat is an essential part of a dogs diet, like I said before chicken wings/legs and beef mince from the supermarket will workout cheaper, be more convenient and IMHO be better for your dog than the rabbit??? but its your dog do as you like .......... rabbit will be on top of chudleys greyhound and a bit of red meat

Both a bit too far for me, thanks anyway. I want rabbit for my racing whippets as its low in fat and high in protein, the get they get a bit of bone that beef doesnt provide, and a bit less fat than chicken carcase provides. I find it very helpfull in keeping their weight down a little when I need to.

I live in staffordshire, no budget I can spend what I like, but that doent mean I want to throw money at it. Some good 2nd hand gear will do me fine. With nets does the material they are made from matter?????????????? Thanks for all the advice guys

Hi Guys I have 3 ferrets coming up to 6 months old. I have some new permission. What equipment would you recommend for someone starting out? What sort of nets what type of locator boxes etc I understand some of this will depend on the type of ground you cover but in general? cheers Andy

yes I race at hoe, rabbitting isnt great for race dogs, they pick up too many injuries, and it ruins them for racing. Some dogs dont want to chace a dirty rag when they hve tasted bunny!

Hi I am a whippet men through and through. I have 4 that I race very sucessfully. I would love a dog for lamping. What would you guys suggest as the best for rabbits, I dont want anything too big as my whippets are small 20" tts. so I want something ideally 21" or under. cheers for any advice.
