  1. peeps seen this, 175MM LED RECHARABLE FOXING/HUNTING LAMP on pigeon mania and wondered if anyone has used it before? if so please let me know if its any good, i have a lamp i made my self and its super bright but the old battery weighs a ton. so thought this would be dead handy beause has a built in lithium battery and no wires to get caught in brambles and branches. anythoughts welcome cheers.
  2. It's similar to that one only mine is 500 lumen mine was £26 I also got car charger and mains charger plus spare battery. Was talking to a fella earlier and he said lidl were selling a torch with one of those cree LEDs in it might be worth a look.
  3. just bought one of those cree torches off amazon and it is f%#king bright. just wondering if anyone has used one for lamping cause im sure u could. has anyone got an opinion on them and any pros and cons???? cheers ds

  5. mate get tripe into them not much nutritional content but mix it with the redmills grub never seen a dog turn their nose up at tripe in my life. my dogs litterally inhale it and one of my dogs fussy b*****d (whippet). seriouly my dogs are on it like amy winehouse on a crack pipe

Fitness is fitness yes, but on the other hand a boxer in top physical condition won't be able to touch along distance runner on a off day.. yeah but we are not talking about boxers and long distance runners are we,we are talking about dogs you forget we are not talking about pure bulls or pure collies competing you forget half the make up of either cross or more is made up from a sprinting dog both the greyhound and bull are athletes in the dog world a collie is a herding dog with a good brain, a bull is a game as hell package of raw power and does not know when to quit,a collie has endura

  10. Going from what i've heard mate not from experience is that the deer hound and dhx's has an inbred hatred for the fox and will kill it at any given chance althought not sure if same about other quarry as well but like you say most sight hounds have high prey drive. atb ds
  11. really mate dont know where your permission is and i'm not gona say where i was online so leave it at that and i'm sure there is more than one person with permission on that land and i know one of the lads i was with has permisson on that land. also who said i caught the bunny in that field behind me?

  14. My 16 month old saluki/grey X whippet/grey/bull got his and my first rabbit last night on the lamp, I was completely buzzing amazing feeling. Have to say a big thanks to allrounder and the lads for bringing me on their permisson. was a great night. I got a few runs and he missed two then on the third he nailed it!!! thanks again lads come up round my way next time. oh yeah I'll bring my snorkel next time too lol....

Alright lads and lasses does anyone know a greyhound/lurcher specialist in N.Ireland that i could get in contact with? my lurcher looks like he has a twisted pelvis???, I took him to the vet last week and she said there is nothing wrong with him but i had him out on the bike today and he has a definate limp so would like to have a second opinion by a running dog specialist.   16. alright lads lasses this is a pic of my 13 month old saluki/grey x whippet/grey 28tts coming on slowly but surely. any way i'm after some advice just noticed one of the pin bones on him has disappeared on the left hand side its really weird i'm taking him to vet next week for his booster jab and ask about it then but am wondering has any one seen this before or heard of it? he's not in anypain not tender around the area and has full range of movement seems to be running fine, any advice???? cheers ds.

Alright lads/lasses new to the hunting game, i've got a 12 month old saluki/grey X whippet/bull, and i'm trying to bring him on to hunting and was wondering if there was anyone in co antrim/down area willing to let me go out on a days/nights hunt with them to see if i can get my dog some experience and see if he and i can learn from your expertise and your experienced dogs.   20. Definately use betadine spray you can get from chemist its a dry powder spray and kills all bugs its a variant of the stuff they use in the operating theatre. Great stuff hope this helps.
