I AM SO PEE'D OFF!! I spent all day yesterday making some snares out of sticks and wire....(i found how to do it from this site) somewhere! I was very pleased with what i had made. So i've just come back from walking the dogs on the field and i took all my rubbish snares out and put my new ones out. Went walking further down the field to see where else i could put some more so i know how many to make and a bloke was walking his dog. Anyway..... Hi Rach,I was like you a few yrs ago, I tried for weeks to catch me a rabbit and then someone pointed me in the right direction.
so I am going to do the same to you,I was advised to buy some ready made from the same type as glen waters,he made his own snares and are very successful.I got my snares from martinat the netloft.net you can get himemail molecatcher@talktalk.net best wishes...

Hi, im new to all of this. I decided to take up a hobby in snaring rabbits i have a massive wild field at the back of my house so i have made some snares with some garden wire and attached them to openings of dens and small area's where i assume the rabbits are coming in and out of. I have had one snare gone missing so i assume i have had something snag it and ran off with it around it neck or whatever. i have always been interested in catching rabbits.
