TERRY D I had a pointer greyhound that used pointer and mark like this only thing was he would not touch it till it moved if he would have he would have court bags full but there again its in genes but they are a very handy cross i will definatly get another one.

yes they do have a diffrent action I noticed this with my gwp x greyhound it his not a galloping action where the front legs fold and strech right out in front of them but a more stiff leg action .

HE WAS a first cross but you wouldnt think it at 26 to 27 realy racey dog and would work in the beating line or go on the hill and cast the whole mountain looking for a fox but when he sented bambi there was no stopping him and when out with the terriers he would sit and wait the other side of the hedge or down in the wood incase something bolted or till you needed him he will be hard to replace .

HAD a first cross dog for six years never caused a fight ever seen dogs snapping at him and just turned his head but when he needed to he would do his job most bidable dog you could ever want at about 26 in not the most agile dog but to hunt the hill and mark and find any where would take a bit of beating but wouldnt be every bodies cup of tea but has they say horses for courses .

any one looking for a hound to run on want go far wrong with having a pup off bowderdale I had two beagle crosses off him seven years ago turned out to be to cracking hounds and not shy when it comes to getting stuck in . good luck with finding them good working homes .

i remember aubrey fryer advertiseing in the exchange and mart with these dogs back in the middle seventies . i saw a little bitch run out of his stuff on the light a few times she was a cracking little bitch on the the light would carry back has quick has she went up the light only about 22 to 23 rough coated would do her twenties no problem that was 1976 .

Cheers mate the way i dig is as you say never shoot quarry with dog in hole and who evers dog it is they shoot quarry ,the day will come when i will cross paths with him and beleave me i aint calming down,my conclusion to this is the bitch was shot by a guy that has done very little in past shown through his inexperienced and jelouse behaviour.I am 99% sure he knew it was the bitch and if only i didnt turn my back for a split second .Didnt see him pick gun back up it was done in a split second if you that sure i would definatley name the guy im afraid i wouldnt be able to rest
