    i use either Trigene or Formular H both designed to use in breeding establishments vets etc very safe around young pups. atb mrs A.R.D

    dosent sound like it mate but i had a bitch miss-mated on 21 days of her season i took her for the missaliance injection and she still produced a pup. atb mrs A.R.D

    one of our lurchers has sting allergys i used to use piriton. Anyway i mentioned it to my vet and he gave me prednisolone, its a cortisteroid and works a treat, its cheap about £2.50 for 50 tablets oh yeah its anti-inflamatory aswell i always take some in my first aid kit now. atb A.R.D

    i judge at shows mate and take that as abit of an insult, i judge so the standard of working terriers is kept at a very good one, i suppose some people see it as fun and i dont personaly exibit my own dogs. but to the people who breed off the dogs and put the time and effort into working them and keeping them in top condition all year round its abit more than just abit of fun. atb And by it being more than just a bit of fun wich imho thats all it should be we have over the years now seen people whos only aim for the lurcher is for it to win a rosset or trophys or to my suprise [bANNED TEXT]

    my old girl 11 years old she too old for grond work now odviosly but she still does abit of ratting and bushing with the pups. she's out of the dog on my profile, the one in the news paper article. atb jon

    i agree with u pal like i said i judge i dont show! iv never used show dog blood in my line and dont peddle pups i breed mine to keep a true working strain alive. if people need to get recognition at shows then thats upto them, i earned my reputation with spade and terrier! I dont run a bobbery pack becaues they look nice and i dont parade around the show ring with them i do my talking in the field. have a look at my page and see abit of what we do. i came on this topic to stick up for my sister not to argue with you.

    every judge has to start somewhere and i think its good that you have the balls to get up and do it. so what if you havnt had working dogs for very long because you grew up with me.     whether ferrets or mink x i dont know but what i do know is they behave differantly from the norm ferret, they are longer to mature grow alot bigger and according to myself and the people who i gave the offsping to work alot harder. but thats just an opinion. does anyone elce find the handling an behavior differant with the blacks? mine never lost the ability to cry like kits lol
