  1. I'm with Daryl and Ghillies, One of my neighbours owns a Porsche, he keeps it in the garage under a car blanket and on sunny days opens the garage doors, starts it up for 20 minutes and drops the roof, then turns off the engine, closes the doors and covers the car back up. In 5 years, no one has seen him drive it on the road Point being, it's a car, you're meant to drive them and enjoy it Same with anything else, no point in having it otherwise!
  2. Superdomes don't come in different head sizes but are awesome in my HW77!! I've been in to several gun shops between Hampshire and Cornwall. 3 told me that the AA Fields only came in 5.5mm. It amazes me that some gun shops seem to treat airgun shooters as second class customers.
  3. BASC without a hesitation. They were absolutely brilliant on every occasion I've contacted them.
  4. Sportsmatch all day long!! i use them on the HW77!
  5. Brilliant guns, can't fault mine and there are plenty of people out there who can get the best from them! Just got mine tuned, write up here: http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/290430-bsa-s10-carbine-is-back Would have another in a heart beat!
  6. I swear by Superdomes in my HW77, really accurate, very few are deformed in the tin and a bargain to boot! Great to see a permission with so much to offer! The grass on my permission is now approx knee high and so although the bunny population is in overdrive, you can't see them, just hear laughter in grass as you pass!
  7. Hi all I just wanted to recommend the work of Rancid Tom from the BSAOG. I was having issues with my .22 S10 and had wanted it tuned for a while, but life being life, as soon as you have made the decision to get a tune, fate comes and demands that you have other things to do first! Anyway, after both the S10 and R10 buddy bottle valves going up to valve heaven, I was left PCPless, as my S410 TDR is still an ongoing home tune project (4 months and counting). I love my .177 HW77 and always will, but there are times that a multishot PCP is simply a far better tool and I prefer .22 fo
  8. Greenfields -Local gun shop in Salisbury, not the cheapest at £14.50ish for AA Diablo .22, but the service is brilliant and I think it's important to support local businesses.
  9. As above have had Richter and Hawke in 3-9X40 on my HW 77k and both are great at normal air gun ranges. JSR are as good, so I hear, but have no experience of them.
  10. BASC. Instantly recognised by most land owners, an excellent cause and fantastic service at £5.00 or so a month. Bargain!
  11. Accupells are pretty light and worked well in mine, as did superdomes and they cost next to nothing as well! To be honest though, the best results were from AA Field in 5.52 and a range finder. Pretty lethal combination!
  12. My HW 7k is 25 years old and still awesome.
  13. Nice job mate, not my taste, but looks like it's done well. Regarding a cheap as chips but reasonable scope, have a look at Richter Optiks 3-9x40. I paid £50.00 in a notoriously expensive gun shop, but found this for £35.00. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Richter-Optik-3-9x40-Rifle-Scope-Includes-Flip-Up-Lens-Covers-1-Tube-/120841338932 I have one on my HW77 and would happily pay £50.00 again.
  14. OR... how about you buy a second hand S410 TDR for circa £400 - £500 then have it regged, + shots in .22, 70 in .177! I know you can get a verminator and couple of others in the price range you mention, like a Fast Fire 10, but for performance, reliability, spare parts and design, I'd go with AA and with a decent regulator fitted, the same shot count (ish) and consistency as an HW100k. Job done!!
  15. We've got those dotted around the farm. Brilliant for pigeons in the rape stubble!
  16. I sent my R10 through Royal mail/ parcel force next day delivery, £500 insured and it was great.
  17. Thanks for everyone's help! I'm going to order one this week. Really appreciated.
  18. 77K!! The new stocked one is good looking enough to get me out of Kelly Brook's bed on a cold night, plus it's basically the same action as a 97!
  19. You can buy the seals plus great advise from Julian at Bond Guns. Not used him myself yet, but he comes highly recommended via here and the AAOC http://airarmsspares.com Hope it helps.
  20. That's awesome all round and with a stunning HW 77 as well! Nice going on it all bud.
