Badger cubs?

Now that's what I'm talking about! Great looking gun, proving it's accuracy and doing an awesome job! Does the gold sticker say XTX? Got to love his work! What caliber is it? Sorry for the question barrage, but thinking of buying another used R10 in.177 and sending it to Darrin again.

First Scopecam In Over A Year Showing What A .25 Cal Does
silentshot1 replied to Daz 7's topic in Airgun Hunting
Love the last pic and the TTR 1 is pretty awesome looking. -
You have a bag load of options for £500! Look at the for sale section here and take your time. You can get an awful lot for your money at the mo. Good luck with the search and enjoy it!

You can't be unhappy with that! Silent and deadly, I'm chuffed for you after the time you've put in to it. Also glad that the Hubble space telescope you've got on top is zeroing as well!

Andy_C and I came up with a recipe between us that I'd thought we should share. Some ingredients are to taste, so feel free to work out your own variation! What you'll need: 1 X HW 97 (tuned SFS stage 2) - Other variations can work well 1 X R10 (XTX'ed to taste) - Again, you may have a tender fillet of HW100, S410, Daystate etc, all just as good 18 X Decoys (full bodied and shells, go your own way, whatever's in the pantry) 1 X Bouncer (Optional but can add body) 1 X field of stubble (we used 120 acres of rape stubble, but again, what ever you have in the cupboard) 1 X Andy_C

Daystate Huntsman Regal Or Bsa R10 Camo
silentshot1 replied to KurtH's topic in General Airgun Discussion
It's really easy to slate the R10, it's been a popular pass time on forums for years, but frankly, my late mark 1. R10 is simply awesome! Yes, it was used when I bought it and after 6 months I had it serviced and it went from good to brilliant, all PCPs need a service at some point! I would happily buy another. That said, a choice between the camo'ed version and the Regal is a no brainer, Regal all the way. The resale value of the R10 will plummet as not only do you have to get through the hordes that will not hear a positive word about a BSA product and then, you have to find the ones tha -
Those photo's don't do it justice mate, it's stunning in the real world and I have never liked the look of an S200! The stock really does look like something special.

XTX or John Bowkett, although I can only recommend XTX through experience and you can't fault the guy or his work! Best £90.00 I spent and as easy to speak to as you could hope. PM him on here, through XTX I think!

You can get them regged by tench, the shot count goes up to a staggering 65 - 70 (or near) full power shots, (HW100 Carbine territory), I've rarely needed more than 30 shots to check zero and hunt for a day so never worried about shot count.

A .22 lightening XL bought from the CLA game fair when it visited Broadlands, served my wife very well for 3 years or so, it's light and easy to use. Not the best trigger by far, but fine for what she wanted it for and pretty accurate in her hands with 1 inch groups out to 35 meters +. That said, as said above you can get better and as we discovered, you will only end up upgrading. On the other hand I was given my HW77 and have never bought another springer because it's simply awesome, I understand the same to be true of the 95. they will last years and only improve as your shooting does.

Mine does exactly that, it's a quirk of the regulator. I fill it to 200 now and it's spot on, anything over and it's horrible. you can get a new regulator fitted for £175 or similar, but I still get 75 - full power shots and rarely use over 30 on a trip so I haven't bothered.

I'm In Two Minds Weather To Repair Or Replace
silentshot1 replied to Andy_c's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Looks brilliant mate! -
As Andy_C mentioned, I have an S410 TDR in .22 and I love it. Quiet, more accurate than I'll ever be and light. The sweet spot on mine is from 170 bar to about 100. there's no point filling to above that as you're all over the place accuracy wise and you'll still have 35-40 consistent shots in .22 n the sweet spot. A great gun, mine hardly gets used (twice in the last year) because I prefer the weight of the S10 and R10, but not taking anything from them, they're brilliant!

Beautiful!! Good luck with it!

all the barleys cut here just waiting on the rape will be another 2 weeks , i was driving the tractor the other day puting bales in 5's and i shot two pigeons by stoping opening the back window and taking the shot Brilliant!! So much easier on shorter stubble and so addictive, have a great time tomorrow and let us know how you get on

Boxall & Edmiston Daystate Huntsman
silentshot1 replied to jandcguns's topic in General Airgun Discussion
If they lend me a standard Regal for the weekend, I can almost guarantee I'd have it 'engraved' by the end of it! my record with tripping up, dropping, scratching etc. brand new guns is unbelievable! -
It was an awesome first weekend, mate, Role on the Barley harvest!

Woops Hit the wrog button and posted to early, not the first time as my wife tells me, but at least this time I tried to finish! Read the other one, I at least finished it!!

Harvest's here FREAKIN AWESONE!!! Met up again with Andy_C on Friday afternoon to have a pop at some pigeons at my permission on the newly harvested rape fields. We both turned up armed with Andy's SFS 2 HW97 and my S10, both in .22. Annoyingly, the slightly better elevated, wooded side of the first field to be cut had been left with a 15 meter deep border of rape still to be cut, so we had to set up a hide on the opposite, thinly hedged side, using the missed rape stems from the edge and pressing in to the hedge, First thing we noticed was that we could only see the decoys out to abo

Pump it!! £75.00ish second hand and will take about 40 pumps to fill an S200's sweet spot from 100 - 165 and if I can pump my S410 TDR (similar shot count) up in under 4 minutes, then you should have no worries!! Depending on work, I might sneak out decoying over the rape stubble on Friday if you fancy it, pm or text me! Edited to say: PS. You can always give my pump a go, if you can help me change adapters.

Couldn't agree more, that or the 97 (After trying Andy_C's) are both awesome. .177 isn't bad, just prefer .22.
