  1. Hi Mate If you go to your profile, then edit profile then signiture, you can put what you want in to appear every time you post something.
  2. Just a quick question, What time of night do you find best to go lamping? I know that every permission is different but was wondering whether there was a common consensus as I'm not seeing the numbers that I figure I should be based on the signs. In fact I see more at dusk than I do at 21.00. Thanks for your thoughts James
  3. HW 77, truly a fantastic gun!! you'll be so impressed with it! I utterly love mine.
  4. I've filled my S10's air bottle from scratch to 230 via a pump 3 times in three days before, due to a leak... not something I would want to do regularly! Apart from that, the Hills pump I have is great and as already mentioned, only takes 5 mins to fill after 60 or so shots. My S410 TDR takes far less effort, so I guess the higher the fill pressure the more the effort. Pumps give air on tap, with out the hassle of finding a fill, in my case about 35 miles away, but I can totally understand those that prefer tanks.
  5. Litterally just picked up an R-10 tonight or would have had this!! I have the carbine and love it! Good luck with the sale, mine cost £420 2nd hand from a dealer so certainy a fair price.
  6. Sold to me!... Am happy to recommend Leepug as a great guy to deal with.
  7. Hi Guys Not often I post on here nower days but have just bought a BSA R-10 in .22 from Leepug, a relatively new member on here and thought I should recommend him. Absolutley sound bloke with a charming family. I met him first, at his home, on Tuesday where he showed me the gun and we had a few test shots on his garden range. The gun was as promsed and he was nothing but welcoming. Picked it up tonight and again nothing but friendly and honest. Great boke and would happily buy from him in future. Lee, thanks again and as mentioned you are always welcome here for a days shoo
  8. I thought I remembered a similar thread a wee while back. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/193735-how-do-these-rate-nowadays/page__hl__%22titan%22__fromsearch__1 Pretty positive by the sound of it!
  9. I've got a Simmons Whitetail Classic 3.5 - 10 X 50 on my HW100. Fantastic scope.
  10. I feel your pain buddy, literally! Tore my calf muscle running on Monday morning. Not happy! Hope your back up soon.
  11. Hi Mate bought an original 77k Stock from chambers and was impressed by their service. http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?page=4&id=24576 - HW97 stocks. Hope you find what you are looking for
  12. Brilliant post as always mate! Really enjoyed that.
  13. Hi mate Try looking at the AA S200, S410, S410 TDR, BSA Ultra etc. a lot of the guys on here swear by one or all of them! They should hit the mark as starters, but do bare in mind that by reducing weight, in a lot of cases you also sacrifice shot count, especially in comparison to a Rapid. If you want carbine size with large shot count then you can't go far wrong with a decent example of an BSA S10 Carbine. 150 shots in .22 and regulated. Good luck with your search, whichever way you go.
  14. £30=00!! even if you send it off for a tune and fettle, it will stil be an utter steal! fine work!
  15. I agree, it has and I'm as much to blame as anyone else! By not posting for a while (in my case an age) and letting the sections fill up with drivle, we are handing what was, in my opinion, the best airgun hunting site that I'd come across, to the freaks, scammers and armchair bruisers. I figure that the only way to improve things is win it back. There are some quality guys on here, both aged regulars and newer regulars who's input with really engrossing write ups, views and questions made and makes this what it was abd can be. If we all just say a big 'Fcuk you' to the dross, liers a
  16. Brilliant job mate, look forward to part 4.
  17. Brilliant post and great to see you back!
  18. just brilliant photo's bud. It's not about the size of bag but the opportunity to be there. Was going to get out myself today, until I was advised that my plans had changed and I was the driver on a shopping safari! Lucky me! Role on tomorrow!
  19. I've had one for years but hardly ever use it as the HW 77 was always far better. Took it out the other day and managed to drop a pigeon, but find the lack of weight makes them unsteady for longer range. Great fun gun, but not something I'd grab for when going hunting.
