  8. thanks for your comments. the dog is about two your old and meant to be working rabbit and fox only bean out with him once, he was very keen and flu down the hole, after a bout 30 seconds he started to open up, edging back and forwards and then went quiet, the dog came out of a bolt hole in the cover witch we did not see. there was a good chance it bolted, so we tried two more places, the dog went straight in and opened up in both of them, but did not stay down for long, we had a 100 % fox dog to check to holes, went down so there must of bean fresh sent in there but there was nothing in them,
  9. hi , is it common for terrier to yap going though a earth when there's nothing in there?
  10. there's no terrier in mine so i would of thought so, charlie has got a little bit more growing to do yet so i hope he will not be able to get to far down then Thanks for the reply Blackknight, I regularly see foxhounds go to ground so IMO a beagle X terrier used to hunt fox should go to ground quickly. If it doesn't you'd have to ask yourself about the drive in your dogs. thay dont go to ground'' if u stop them going to ground' n am not talking about ur foxhounds...... n drive.. L.M.A.O
