    I've never had a squirrel bolt, but Iv'e had plenty of rats and the other day a jet black rabbit bolted which i've never seen before, but I know their about.

    I have always fed mine on CSJ their healthy dogs, £19 for a sack.

    What a beauty! I love those dogs, got one myself his 9mnths and 19tt his quite smooth haired though but that dont stop him. hope you have some fun with him.

    I would like to try longnetting, does anyone know where I can pick up a reasonbly priced one? I would also like to know are they very succesful because a couple of people I know have said they tried it a couple of times without much luck, is there some sort of knack to it? any advice?

    Iv'e been going beating for the last 4 years and im always sad when the season ends, i'd rather do that than my day job any day!! rain, wind, or shine its the best job i've ever had, Hope it goes on for ever.

    I'm not keen on Salukie crosses though, I have one and Iv'e spoken to other people who have had them, I think you either love em or hate em, his the most depressing dog I have ever owned and it would be more fun to own a goldfish! I know their not all like that but he has really put me off ever getting another.

    What a great load of answers i've had thankyou everyone. I'm sure his gonna be fantastic now, anythings gotta be better than my older dog who is a 25" Colliexsalukixwhippet and a load of rubbish, this little fella is like a breath of fresh air to me in everyway.

    I have a 6mth old Bedlingtonxwhippet and he is only 17', is he too small for lamping? she has caught 3 myxi rabbits on the run on a normal daytime walk but is he going to be fast enough on the lamp, he is a cracking dog in every other way. will not start lamping with him untl next year.
