Well I supose it's a bit like tit or bum , some have a preference some aren't to fussed , but at the end of the day yes we all keep working ferrets no matter the coulor not fussed I love ferrets simple as that love a good worker even more I happen to have a mixture cos I love ferrets an workin them , even if I get grief off the missus , don't care so long as I havee me ferrets but I will always have me favourites one of which is albino like I said love all ferrets

Well guys I only got back into me ferrets last season after to long 14 years to be prosise , I kept acouple of jills back out the litter ,which ones in mosts opinion come beter in the field the calm steady ones or the tetchy little madams they've all had the same amount of handeling I supose there just diferent, or is it just a case of seeing when the time comes

Oh my g I can't believe it I'm so stupid , sorry guys completely slipped my Mind I was Reading a thread on another forum about a month ago and I don't know wether it works but the person who posted is no dimwit , cider apple vinegar is suposed to be a good natural altenative you make up a solution and bathe them this would be safe for all google it

The jill will be the root cause I don't know if you can do a nursing jill I have a shed full 10 plus ferrets not a single flea it's important to frontline in the winter after working if there's any sighns a bottle of the spray will last ages still got the one from last winter and not used it once since the last outing in march it is good stuff

Me niether got a few jills I can't wait to giv a run out , I will start the search for new permision come august allready got one this summer , and am going to be taking a lad off here on his first days ferreting when the season starts just sorted him his first ferrets last weak a nice pair of albino jills , I tell you good job I'm working all the time to keep my mind off the long wait
  12. Hopefully mate you won't need one but nice to have it on standby , used it once last season when a rabitt shot back down the hole to a waiting ferret if it's new you could always use it for a fry up

Try telling that to my neighbour from some years ago , who's prize racing pigeon was munched on by an escaped jill of myne , from a poorly built hutch with no holes in it , chicken wire front on it by the way oh and the jill came back courtesy of my neighbour as flat as the spade he smacked it with, them hutches are pants no ofence but after a while the amonia burns that crapy ply wood then a hole apears and the constant wear on the mesh front gradually weakens it if you have a hyper ferret doesn't take long

I have some lightly marked silver kits this year and they are As solid as the others ,although the two silvers in the litter got eye infections before there eyes opend , the others never ,I have seen heavily marked silver kits young ones and they didn't seem as strong there bones seemed a lot thiner .but the light silver strain I have which gave come from a friends stock bar the eye infections seem solid to me , so is it possible with silvers the further away you breed them and the lighter they become the healthier the ferrret ,?????? So bews which to me seem silvers with no silver would be a
  20. Sick to the back teeth of them now can't wait till they've gone then why the f**k do you breed them if you sick of them already. you got to stand up to your actions.
