Welcome mate,on the subject of irish staffs i used to breed them only lost my last one 2 months ago at 14 and he was a great dog and very slow to anger infact in all his years he never started a fight,loved my kids to bits,my mother used to say he was anyones for a big apple . I am great beliver in it's how you bring the dog up not the breed,only a bad dog will so aggression to humans,kids especially and not worth shit only a bullet!. still have friends that breed quallity dogs if interested.

is this breed suitable to have as a family pet and to do alittle working to.I have two young children and two other springers.

i was thinking of geting a irish staff but am slightly hesident because i have young children and don't know what way they will mix. anyone know much about the breeds temperment as a pet and around other dogs
