Jawn, Hogar Redboy od Popa died, Krle and lot of his relative kept by the guy who offered his pups who started this topic. Grof Dorno and 2 of his sisters are also in Hungary. Grof Dorno wasn't tested in natural den, all what I've seen from him on an artificial den contest was excellent. He could let the boar sit by hanging on his tongue :-), never seen any similar before. His sisters were worked regularly in their time (they are somewhere around 10 now), all of them were muted dogs - as Serbian guys likes them. Also dug once to Krle, same type of work, not really what I like but would d

Jawn, you won't find the guy on the net. He spent his last few years with picking up dogs from this family/bloodline, and test them as hard as possible. He builds roofs so has plenty of time during the hunting season to go out with his dogs, not just on the weekends. Hunting them on approx 20000 ha, so has plenty of opportunity to check their value. Please allow me to say some words about the price. Dogs are not expensives, paperwork and distance makes them expensive. Same with - for example- me when imported some from there. Credit to a guy on this forum who asked fair price for his

out today for some pest control with my young beddy
NBW Terrier replied to matulkoh's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
We don't have choice in connection to kill the cubs or not, we -in the eastern part of europe- do the pestcontroll in 10.000 ha +, and not for "sport" but pestcontroll, so that's the most efficient way to keep their number as low as possible. Anyway the amount of foxes is lifting year by year, so if we want to save our small games we must do it however I don't know any guy who likes to do that. Also no need to bashing him about that tong, that's just a tool what can be very usefull in it's time, but all of us can decide use it or not. -
I tryed both of them with the mentioned collars. Measure accuracy is better with the B&F transmitter, but you can find your dog with the other one as well. The main difference between the patroller and the d3 is patroller can't sign when more than one transmitter exist in it's range (as they call 'victim'). The d3 also can't handle more than one in same time, but can notice to you when get more than one signal. Hope this help.

Hi Alli, here's my white lakie: but also not related to the thread ...

Haven't a clue about, but true, he is very strong. 42cm at shoulders, 12kg. But very efficient one

The top photo (sire) looks like it could be a first cross staff to me. (not saying it is) The all white or patched colouring could easily come from the bull blood. Just goes to prove how much the black colouring dictates the "Patterdale" name. If you just posted the last Photo of the pup and said it was a Jack Russell, Who would disagree? Solid looking dogs NBW, best of luck with the litter. ATB Yes, I agree with you, he could be anything by his color. They are around 15 months, and till now we are pleased with them. As I know there was no bull blood in them (I mean added by th

how did you get into terrier work?
NBW Terrier replied to scottish carper ingram's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
14years ago I borrowed a book from my mate about the terriersport. The only hunter in the family was grandad but died when I was born, so must be something in what Jigsaw said, it's in the blood. -
a pic about today's result (after 2 hours of dig) (anyway she was a later starter, but we had a bitch who started on foxcubs at 8 months of age. like any other breeds...as was told before)

Last year somebody started a thread about founding a working border terrier club. What's up with that?
