    Ta fellas, will try the line. He would sulk for weeks with the rams, not to mention the grief from m'missis.

    I have an 18mth Border dog. Until now I spent as much time as I could getting him used to being around sheep. However I took him out today and the little git spotted one and then took off after it, as they do he went deaf and spent the next 15 minutes chasing before he came back. Have been told that there is no hope now he can never be broken to sheep, has anyone got any advice?

    Afternoon to everyone. I am new to the game and am still very much green around the gills. I was bought up in a farming / smallholder family, but unfortunatly most of my family had died before I reached my teens and the family that I do have farm in Norway (so not good for nipping out for a few hours with the dogs). I have my own family now, my youngest is 4, so I am now in a position to spend more time doing what I love. We have always had dogs, but never worked them. At the moment we have an 18mth old Border dog, a 5mth old lurcher bitch and am in the process of looking for some working ferr
